How to score with free kicks!?

I suck at free kicks and have only scored 1 in my master league after 4 seasons. :(
Has any one got any tips?
Cheers

If you get a freekick litterally on the line of the opposition box, I usually just thump it as hard as possible straight at the keeper. I aim to the right or left a little to that it goes into the space between the keeper and the post.

The trick is to select your set-piece taker as one who has the highest shot power. This is influenced by their form - anyone with around 88 shot power but on form (red up arrow) will have a shot power of 99.

Hold your power button until the bar reachs the middle and hold triangle. The shot should be at least a corner or a goal.

For longer range free-kicks, always set the power bar to about half way and, if around 22-26 metres, hold X (PS2) to get a softer, dipping shot. Remember the directional arrow that is pressed can influence the freekick tremendously.

Good luck.

at about 30yards shoot with power about half-way and shoot either left or right of middle of goal.

From close in (less than 25m) you want lots of swerve and slightly lower shot power (maybe like 80), as a powerful kicker won't beat the wall if it's too close.
From further out it's better to use a powerful shooter with 90+ shot power, and ideally lots of swerve too. Also, try to aim for the opposite corner to the keeper and use left or right footed takers where appropriate, so the ball will swerve away from the keeper.

Freekicks

Hello. I can't say that im to good at freekicks but Im scoring at them sometimes =). If u have it very close to the goal (25 meters or shorter) press the shootbutton, when its a LITTLE bit longer then the middle of the bar press directional button down and the X-button. It will give the freekick more accuracy and lesser strenght, but if you aim carefuly (At the corner there the keeper isn't standing) it should be a beautiful freekick precisely over the wall. Its very hard to tell actually, you have to train very hard to learn. I hope that my tip can be helpful to you =).

Sorry for my bad english =).
