How to turn a replay into a video file ?

Hi.

I saved a replay to my memory card.
I sent the replay to the max drive.
And now the replay is on my computer hard drive.

So the big question:

My replay is now a .max file.

How can i turn it to a video file (.mpg or .wmv) ?

A lot of people seem to be under the impression that you can directly convert a .xps or .max replay file into a video...through the use of some program or something....which is not possible. See this thread.

You'll need a tvcard or some other capturing device to make videos of your goals off your PS2/Xbox. Either that or you'll have to see if you can find somebody that has the capabilities of capturing clips and is willing to convert your goals for you (by sending them your replay files). I used to offer that service but can do so no more due to too high a demand.

So having a .max file at the ready is of no use unless you are going to send it to someone else to capture/enter a GOTM comp.
