I use alcohol 120% to burn WE8 with Fernando 0.4 Version patch, i'm about to create an ISO of WE8 with alcohol 120% and it works. And i have successful using ppf to patch it wih my WE8 iso. But when it comes to burn, i insert a empty DVD-R into my dvd writer to burn, it says no disc found.......as i know people have told me any empty dvd rom will work. But it seems it doesnt. Can anyone help me pls.....deeply appreciated!! And after i have ask my friends again. They told me maybe my DVD Burner can only burn empty DVD+R not DVD-R is that true? I have bought DVD-R for $22, but it doesnt work man. I really hope all pros on this patching stuff can help me out.

alot of my frens say, if my dvd writer is + version, then my DVD writer can only detect DVD+R, is that true? I'm using SKY DVD-R, and it wont work when i try to burn. There is no problem with creating an ISO file man, but just the DVD-R that i bought earlier could not work.

if u have a dvd+r writer then it can only read dvd-r not burn them.u will need dvd+r discs.use ritek purple dye discs for reliability and burn at 2speed.i use datawrite with no probs at all.

Ben...go into Alcohol 120 and go tools or menu whatever and find the format disc feature/quick erase...hit the button and it format your empty Disc.

bro, my dvd writer i doesnt even know if it is DVD Writer + or - , so i yesterday went to buy DVD-R , and when i insert a clear empty disc into my DVD writer, my DVD Writer cant seems to detect the disc, it says no disc. And about format my disc, i'm trying it now.


Edit: I cant even find on what u mention in Alcohol 120%, it doesnt even have tools or anything inside man, can u be more specified? Sry to trouble u guys. But it will be great if u can help me.
