Has anyone else noticed this? I'm playing on Top Player, Very Easy ML difficulty and Low Transfer Frequency.
I've been trying to sign Diego and I must have tried at least thirty to fifty times and the club refuses to accept my bid no matter how high it is. So I notice that his club only has two goalkeepers (including Diego) and I went on an experiment. I don't have any problem signing keepers from clubs that have three or more keepers as long as I offered them enough points but for every single club that had only two keepers, all of my bids were rejected regardless of how high it is.
I suspect this might have something to do with the Low Transfer Frequency setting. Since clubs practically don't do any transfers when playing on Low Transfer Frequency, the game is probably programmed to refuse all bids that would potentially jeopardise the club permanently (ie. having no backup keeper and being unable to sign anyone in the market).
