it may not be the case with the pc version, but on the ps3 thers summet not right online, the tackling is just not ther, tackles that would stop a player offline dont online

am still bewildered that they have yet to fix the ‘sulking’ player flaw that makes your player stand still for a second or two after either losing possession or having the through ball to him intercepted. I am baffled the constant overhauling of the shooting system (one thing they continuously seem to make worse and worse). I am amazed at the lack of fluidity to the games now, even PES 2008 was better and smoother as it now seems that the players are constantly stumbling over the ball like a bunch of drunken teenagers in a nightclub.
For some reason they have introduced a weather scenario where there is a torrential downpour going on yet no floodlights are on and it’s like you are playing in your local park at dusk like we did when we were kids, it’s unbelievable.

I'm super disapointed of this game. Well, maybe that's because i have "only" PS2 and today i've discovered that Konami didn't invest even one minute to change anything from last year's version. The game is exactly the same. Ok, so ther'es the BAL option and new menus... and? what about the champions league??? why can't the PS2 gamers enjoy it as well? it's not that we're asking for the same graphics of the PS3, we just want to play the CL like everyone else. Tha'ts not fair, and there's no reason to do that. And what about the gameplay? no new moves... i'm so disapointed. Same stadiums, less licensed teams... This game is one of the greates disapointments that i had with PES series.
They leave me no choice, but to dream about buying the PS3, and i live in Argentina. a PS3 worth's like 2 months of salary.

I do sympathise with you here but what can you expect? Support and development for the PS2 has to stop sometime. I think its horrid that a PS3 is so expensive over there but that's not Konami's fault. It's either your economy or Sony, and I would think it's not the latter. My advice would be not to bother buying the next PS2 installment if there is another one. That sucks, but it'll save you wasting their money. Also, it could easily be that hardware the PS2 simply cannot cope with the extra demands. Bear in mind that the PS3 has a HDD and also uses Blu-Ray Discs. Sadly the PS2 only runs off a DVD...

The PC will be here for EVER and once you have a decent one, its cheap enough to update... 360? PS3? Couple more years and you'll have some new next gen consoles... Out with the old, in with the new.

pcs are overated for gaming nowadays id rather have the ps3 game not a ps3 port to the pc
The problem is that on pc's, it's never the same... There's always something missing, and you should always have the last one to pop in the market for the game to run smooth. About the PS2 version, the main thing that i was disapointed about, was the lack of the CL feature. It have nothing to do with graphics, game engine and so... It's only to make us, the PS2 gamers, feel bad about our selves and run out buying the PS3...

As for PC's being overrated. I think your chatting out of your ass there mate.
GTA4 may not be released as of yet for the PC, but there completely reworking the multiplayer... What do 360 and PS3 get? Nothing... Who's having problems with PES? Me the PC user, or you the console user? No problems at my end, hardware, software or online. So I guess that's you. Most of the games that come out for consoles only are boring anyway... I love my RTS and FPS games... Name me a decent RTS game? Name me a decent RPG? You simply can't because all the best games in that department come out for PC!Seriously, what has a PS3 got that a PC hasn't? Don't even bothered with better graphics because for one, I have a very powerful machine that can max out any game, and two, You need a HDTV to get the maximum visual effects from a PS3... Oops that's another 500 quid gone... So seriously you have nothing that you can come up against the PC with.:fplm:

I've had this PC for a year now and I expect it to last for maybe 5 years, the graphics card I've had for 2 years. 8800GTX and its still one of the best cards out today.
cost me £250 at the time but its cheaper now...

Not really, if you know how to use a PC, 90% of games work, then you also have to take into account, every console is the same, PC's ain't. It takes allot of time to optimise games to run smooth on all PC's. And, if you look in the right places, you will have the games before there out in the shops
I will always support devs if they offer me a game I enjoy, if not I'll acquire it.
