firstly those goals are nothing to brag about ,infact you have just made fifa look bad!why? look at the defending on them not one player carrying the ball is being pressured on pes the AI would have at least taken your player out not to mention the defender would marked the players that ran through their defence

look at the defending on the first goal the defender runs up and completley sells himself now if that is on top or legendary then hahahahahaha fifa is pants he doesnt even run up and jockey the player to slow the move down ,then the second defender gets caught in no mans land and instead of showing him outside ala schoolboy he just stands allowing you to play an aerial through ball and the scorer whos involved in the build up just sprints past his marker with ease lleaving him 10 yards outside the box over a 35 yard distance

second goal ohh what a ball to once again a team where all your players werent marked or in proximity ,take a second look the fist ball is an aerial ball where the player has time to adjust his run and take it on his chest play a keepie up with himself then drill an inch perfect ball(supposedly on manual) to where the centre half just runs away from the scorer giving him a free header now if thats a good game where 8 men are behind the ball and not one marks and all this starts with aresnal having two men ahead of the ball and 8 men of fulham are behind the ball and this is 15 yards inside fulhams half

and the third goal even though it looks fabulous is the worst of the lot why ,you claim that fifa is difficult to master but you have just pulled off a special goal but to do that goal in real life ,would make you an instant millionaire
to run at full speed then take a lobbed shot with a deft touch that balloons up in the air too beat the keeper at the near post but has precision ball weight to drop in before it reaches the second post from that angle seems very unrewarding ,i wont even mention that he gets a free run into the box or the fact the oppisition CM just allows you to step into posistion between the CM and CB to get the first blocked shot in

and the least said about beyondthoughts excellent timing of the ball and beautifull slick passing the better not to mention the defenders who dont come out or dont even get a touch to divert the ball

now i`m being totally honest and not sarcastic here at all

This is why I think that both FIFA09 and PES09 are out of date.

PES for not Evolving after so many years.. And FIFA for being so bad for so many years. Football Sims should be better by now. As simple as.

Scored my best one yet last night, a pull back cross to Arshavin who chested it down and issued a dipping volley into the to pcorner from 30 yards. It crashed halfway through uploading though. And it was in the 88th minute to put me 1-0 up. I seem to hit the bar with loads of long range efforts too, but my shooting is defo improving.

Well i was playing fifa for last two weeks and scored exactly same goals.. And so far I have to say, that the second goal is on daily basis in computer repertoar.. Though i went online after long time, well never with fifa and downloaded few updates and have to say, that i dont know why, but fifa get more difficult (A.I.), more smooth running.. generaly it is much better game..

But i would like to say, that two things are in PES better..

I am repeating myself, but still it is goalscoring (Always different goals).. It is not ment, from different positions, but every player kicks ball differently, from different situations etc.. It never goes to the same place.. And keepers are looking awesome in pes..

Second thing is the tournaments.. If you invite some new people to play FIFA, then they will probably throw joypad after first half.. I understand that it is nice to learn some new staff and keep learning.. But it is pushing people out of this game.. The control of PES is much more intuitive.. After one tournament player gets good.. He got a chance to win, even if he is not as good as you.. The bigger role then play strategy and other staff.. In fifa, you will beat guy 10:0.. How can you find someone to share nice moments, if they will tell you that they are not interest.. The control in fifa should be much more intuitive.. Same as it should be if you would like to change players, it takes too long time to swap one, and you cant even see how good he is in the other aspects..

well least your giving an honest oppinion ,but dont get me wrong here i do agree that the game play in fifa is good ,its fast and fluent but no better than pes08 ,why both are fluent but pes08 you have to really work the ball to create angles and the AI is switched on ,defencively its as good as a human at times ,then look at fifa 09 ,regardless of which passing method you use ,manual or computer assisted every pass the intended receiver is all ready on the inside this in it self shows a lack of understanding about the basics of football ,and to prove my point put it on computer assisted passing and ping the ball from back to front with embarrassing ease ,now how can you call that a good game when the basics are all wrong ,the whole running of attackers is on a different level of the defenders and once more fifa AI doesnt adapt to it

i would still score both pes and fifa as 7 as both are good games in their own rights but for very different reasons

fifa is too fluent and too easy but fun brings a smile to your face but unrewarding

I am not strictly for PES or FIFA.. I was always saying like u, that they got both some advantages and disadvantages.. But i can not agree with u, that FIFA is easy.. The truth is, that it is already on Proffesional more difficult then PES on World class.. I feel that fifa is too flustrating, but once, you controle it rewarding.. On the other hand PES is easy, fun to play and rewarding straight from start, that is why I feel this game is better for multiplayer tournaments than fifa.. And Belive me, if you ever played fifa on Proffesional or harder, there is no way that it can be more easy, couse fifa is taff to play.. Teams can easily break you 5 or 6 - 0.. That is fact and There is no doubt about it..

theres no problem if you disagree with me but at least you have a valid difference of oppinion i respect ,its down to how you play either titles ,personally i am passer i like to work the ball untill i get an opening ,if i cant i pass it back and start again ,on PES this is difficult because of the constant pressure and improved AI only time PES gets easy is when you start dribbling(which i dont do)now fifa for me is the oppisotte ,playing the same way even on manual passing seems very easy and if i was to compare the two i would say fifa top level feels like PES on level 3(regular) but you would probably say the oppisotte

LOL, i cant understand stupidity...i could find a million goals on pes where the defenders become retards an actually run away from the ball...!!! its normal for defening to be bad and mistakes to be made when a goal is scored, but to run away from the ball, hmmm

On Fifa, it feels like you do score them, the only thing separating the 'feel' of the goal is maybe the build up or the importance of it. But whats the same is how its scored; a simple tap in, header in the 6 yard box.

And really, lets all be honest here, Pro with friends is best. Fifa online, from what ive heard is so much better than Pro.

I played it once with a mate, was okay tbh. But it still didnt beat when we stuck Pro on.

What Pro does lack is authenticity and not talking bout its lack of license. Fifa looks very glossy but it performs fairly okay aswell, something that Konami needs to address in order to get its fans back again.

LOL, aint going to happen mate pes is too simple for me now, i doubt it will change much for 2010 and i can see fifa getting even better as they will listen to its fans..maybe pes2012 might have somthing but by then fifa will be immense..

i like to play realistic football and konami are taking pes down the arcadish road its their only chance to survive in the market, EA will have a monopoly on realism...!

PES is still the best, I haven't played FIFA properly, I just played it with everything to assisted on semi pro and i won 1-0 so I know im the best.

Every goal in PES 2009 is different, defenders never move out of the way, you can run past a few players and finish in the bottom corner, you can never run to edge of the box cutback and score, you can never take eto and twist and turn through most of a team when you need to.

I look for realism in a football game, thats why I play Pes, the AI cant actually play anything resembling real life football, but they will rush me off the ball at superspeed by kicking me off the ball, shoulder tackling off the ball. When the AI wants to score, they mindlesssly run at my back four, and their players can avoid any tackle stay on their feet and finish.

Also, the AI plays so many different ways in PES, Stoke City play like barca or real madrid and you can play different styles too, you can either try to play a passing game where the computer decides your passes have to go off target or you can run run run down the wings and cutback, just like in real life.

The players feel very individual too, I love the way the AI controlled Gary Neville can beat Theirry henry in a sprint, just like real life.

The finishing in the box is the best everytime you go through on goal and aim for the corner the ball always goes to the centre of the goal, thats more realistic than fifa 09, where there are about 4/5 ways to finish with the right foot alone.

And finally penalties, I love being in a penalty shootout, and just pressing a direction and hoping the ball goes in, thats well realistic, just like the passing where i press a button and hope the computer lets it go on target. Fifa is shit, you have full control and penalties and can smash, place or chip from any direction same way you can full control over direction and weight of pass, EA are crazy this is nothing like the real game.

Fifa has improved, but it doesnt feel like REAL football, in real life footballers can only move in 8 directions and swarm for the ball non stop, its not like they have minds of their own and mark space.

Pes is the best.
