I can say only one thing,

Bill Gates is one hella good businessman. You can hate him or love him, but you have to admit that he KNOWS what he's doing, and does it extremely well.

I just want to have the PES comunnity on a single plataform, dont care which one and if i have to buy it...
You know, i dont like the PES comunity divide....that will mean less competitons, less skills and less players...:(

That may be a valid point, but remember that most people don't base their console decision solely on where PES is, online or not. It's a console seller for some, but not for the whole gaming community.

So, in reality, having the game for different platforms actually increases the community! Having live support will only make the community stronger! You're not only have xbox owners experiencing the game, you also have online competitions which you don't have now. So, it's a win-win situation considering the community.

Yes, some people will buy an xbox to play online, so it's not actually win-win for these people. But it's not as bad as people having to buy a PS2 to play final fantasy games (or any japanese RPG for that matter) ...

You think it will increase the comunity, but im not talking about increasing or decreasing.

I'm just simply fucking saying that all toghether= more more more!

And plz dont skip out of topic and start talking now about other matters(rpg....ffvII, ect).

Anyways about that "win-win" situation you talk about...hmmmm

Most users will have ps2 only to wipe their asses now...

it aint that bad so pro evo 4 online for x-box and? they are plenty more games to be released on the ps2 gta:san andreas etc.

Although x-box seems to be way forward £40 quid a year seems good quality

Sure it would be better. But don't you think it's utopic to hope every PES player would have a PS2? Maybe hardcore fans would already have a PS2 for sure, but there are PC players and casual players that just couldn't justify buying a PS2 for PES only ... Having a game only on 1 console will always limit the number of people that will experience the game. You'll see more and more people on the PES boards with the xbox addition. That's good for the community.

And plz dont skip out of topic and start talking now about other matters(rpg....ffvII, ect).
I was just comparing two similar situations. Xbox and gamecube owners could not experience PES at all! That was a lot worse than PS2 players unable to play online ... I personally wouldn't buy an xbox just to play PES online, but I'm sure a lot of people will do that. Now, if you consider some other xbox games, it may be worthy.

Most users will have ps2 only to wipe their asses now...
Only hardcore PES-only-players. But I'm sure most PES players play and enjoy other games.

More online with XBox than PS2? That's bollocks. I reckon it's either as we've always thought, that XBox Live is an easier platform to devlop for or Bill Gates has slipped KONAMI a few bucks.

Either way, who gives a shit, why is everybody crying about it. If it wasn't online at all you'd be happy, that doesn't make sense. It's online on a platform, if you want to play online, go get that platform.

I was in Asda the other day and had noticed a whole load of other XBOX only games.

SWAT and SPLINTER CELL (1) were only xbox live and ps2 so there's certainly a good reason for game makers to go with LIVE only.

I'm glad I've got an XBOX now and yes I was only buying it initially for PES4 but I'm totally happy I've spent the £100+ on it, well worth it.

Dont konami realise that if pes4 was online for the ps2, that will persude more people to go on to network play!?? so even from a business decision it dont make sense. More people own ps2s that x-box, that is fact. There is a bigger base and pes playing community for the ps2. That is also fact!! so if the game were online for ps2, i am pretty damn sure most people will try to get hooked up so they can play the game online with a bigger pes community...surely they must see that??

Thats very true t1000v2.0. Perhaps though, its very economical for the gaming industry to try to create sales across all consoles rather than just getting loads of current PS2 owners online. Its perfect timing of the year to release an A star title on multiple platforms encouraging the use of broadband at home to play online. That seems like a much bigger money maker. Im due to get broadband myself some time next week enabled at my home and im getting a big pay check for all the work i did last month, so an Xbox may be on the horizon for me.
