i could understand if you liked pro evo 5/6 beter than fifa, but pro evo 2008? that was garbage!

2008 wasn't garbage imo and i've had evo pro since two that were on the snes iss, iss deluxe. pro 2008 had it's obvious problems but to say it was crap nahh!! i jus think people who say that are crap at playing the game. though pro evo 6 was my best.

Have just spent a full evening playing fifa 09 just to see what i was like and i my humble opinion it's fucking shit will play res 08 before i touch that piece of crap again, if i start on my reasons for hating it i'll start ranting and raving so i'll leave it at that.

PES had the crown from 2001-2007... However PES 2008 was shit and 2009 (judging by the demo) will be no better if not worse!

^^ I agree.... From what I have seen & played of PES09 so far. Doubt the final version will be much different. I thought PES08 was quite enjoyable TBH... But can't seem to get into the new version just yet. Maybe a few more hours will sway my view.

He missed the glory days. Everythings in the balance. The glory days of pes may be long gone. Only time will tell.

Fifa selling point is the licencing hence why so many people start off football gaming with Fifa and put off by pes which they first pick it up and see all the made up names.

I got PES 2008 two months ago. And I couldn't put down my controller. The gameplay was way better than FIFA 08. And it felt more realistic. I know alot of people hate PES 2008 but I am enjoyng it.

Well you are lucky my friend. If you couldn't put down your controller with the abomination that Pes2008 was (and everyone's-even Seabass-agrees with that) you will enjoy anything from so on. LOL Happy news: Pes2009 looks like an improvement over 2008, so...:w00t

Mullet Taylor I have been playing PES 2008 every day like you said. I really enjoyed the demo. To me it's better than the FIFA 09 demo. Can't wait for the full game in November!
