lol if youre happy with a modifield current gen game, then its up to you because that is what pro evo 09 will be. The fact you want pes to play like pes 5 shows that you know that pes has gone downhill. PES 5 is how old? Shouldnt you be hoping that pro evo 09 plays like a true next gen game. I agree pes 5 was a great game but pes has never really become a next gen game. Players move even more squarely, and the ball physics are so unrealistic.

strange but if i was to play FIFA again it would either have to be a massive leap forwards or a massive leap back, the best FIFA was 99, long time ago, and 08 is far from perfect. people hope it to be more like PES5 because they think it was a great game, obviously it wasnt perfect and they want some additions but why would they want something that plays well to differentiate so much.

John4, that's what I'm doing. I waiting to have both games and THEN I CAN ONLY COMMENT ON WHICH IS BETTER FOR ME.
So far both games look improved. Pes improved more because 08 wasn't that good. But only from the videos.
