Konami online is poor. Very laggy. Love the game offline. Never played FIFA but the descriptive comments of each game, on this site, on FIFA sites, and anywhere else I have looked makes PES seem better offline.

Can't be fucked going into depth, all i'll say is pes has so many fundamentals in terms of gameplay that fifa could only dream of.

Put it this way, I enjoy pes more now that I did after having the game for two weeks, PES is a game you have to give time and can take months to master, the game can feel clunky and off putting at first but for me personally the gameplay is much more realistic than fifa.

PES as an offline game puts fifa to shame, career mode in fifa is a fucking travesty and the perfect example of how not to make a single player mode. Offline ML is immense.

I tried to have a go on FIFA again last week and it was shyte.

PES wins hands down just for the variety of goals you can score. In FIFA there are so many 1-1 goals. It's almost impossible to rake in a 30 yard piledriver, defenders always block it, and nigh on impossible to put a header on target.

In PES, I've scored some superbly crafted team goals, a good few rockets from 20-30 yards out and then there are the deflected goals. Always satisfying when scrapping for a point and it takes a nick off the defender to wrong foot the 'keeper.

Like the other guy said, PES requires time, effort and patience but when the game is good, it is amazing.

IMO, Wait for PES 2012. no reason to bother with 2011 this late in the game.

I only recommend it if you get it for PC, as you can get gameplay patches and stuff that make konami's effort look like shite in comparison

Two things ruin this game for me and makes it completely unplayable..

AI cheating, so all your effort for scoring a goal is ruined by a cheap goal that is made by random clumsy stuff your players are doing because the AI knows how to abuse the low intelligence the players have.

And the fact that when you receive the ball, your player stops up completely and the space your player had is closed because he can't frikkin catch it in speed.

The first one will probably not be fixed before ps4 is released at best
