If You Could Combine Fifa 09 and Pro Evo 09!

At a push i would say why not have the licenses, but when i play a football game, i play it to play a football game, not to be over awed at flashing lights and bells.

so on that note, Fifa can suck feet and take its features elsewhere:lol:

Why would you want to see ML when FIFA has fully licenced leagues including multiple divisions? Am I missing something here..?

The manager mode on fifa is so much better than pros master league its unbelievble really, negotiations are by far more realistic, you deal with real money and not points, you have job safety and manager prestige which just adds to the realism of the game. If pro could just add touches like that it would make it alot better. And also i know alot of people love the arcade feel to pro, but for me it gets abit corny after a while, fifa is much more tastfully done in terms of its appearance.

Pro have tried to stear away from the arcade feel alot this year but you stil have them arcade like sounds when you select a mode etc.

i love pro btw lol im not a fifa fan haha, i just think pro would be better if you dealt in real money etc.

Just thinking if you could combine the 2 what would u include from Fifa onto Pro?

Mine would be Apart from Licences would be the Fifa Arena and the Menu System that Fifa uses.

What about the rest of u guys???

FIFA's defending, first touch control, goalkeeping
PES's attacking, bringing out the keeper

Sound:
All four commentators! Mix it around a bit.
Some of FIFA's music. None of PES's.
PES's crowd noises

Graphics:
PES's player graphics, crowd graphics, ball effects, stadium graphics
FIFA's player motions, close up detail (eg if you zoom in on a shirt, it looks like it's made of cotton)

Other:
FIFA's choice of game modes, amount of teams, replay length, manager mode
PES's menus, replay controls, formation editing options

So presumerably you haven't bought FIFA, because it's PES to the grave with you... so how can you judge FIFA's gameplay?

Sorr i seem to have mislead you, i used to be a fifa fan untill pro 5 and then i thought, what the hell have i been playing all these years :shocking: then next gen came along and i thought it is only fair to give them a chance....

Fifa 08 was the worst gameplay i have ever seen in a sports game format ever. Full stop.

Fifa 09, the demo impressed me i must say, but the more i played the worse it got, i have a few fifa fan boy friends so i have played the full game lots of times, and i hand it to them its a big big step from 08 but it is just not pro, it is unresponsive, incredibly easy, the players all run like there curry from last night has just popped out to say hello, its playable yes, but good.....now your pushing it.

so this is why i say these things.

yes i am pro to the grave but i give credit where it is due and never talk bad about it un till i have tried it properly myself.

I also played FIFA til PES5, however, I think you are being incredibly harsh on FIFA09, it is a very good game, although it just lacks the slickness of the PES passing. Surely you can't say the FIFA defending is worse than Pro Evo 2008? The centre backs go out wider than James Beattie's hips!

Hahahaha, well my friend like i say i do give credit where it is due, and fifa 09 is a good game, but its not a great game, i havnt noticed anything on fifa 09 that will make me want to get it instead of pro 2009.

in gamestation today (romford) there were giving a chance for us to play the real full game! i thought it was brilliant and there is proof if you need on my friends facebook page. the game is awsome.

every year we ask the question, could this be the year fifa beat us? the answer is always no and this year is no different

I'm going to have to disagree whether FIFA will be better...
FIFA 09 for me, is brilliant just because the amount of animations and different things you have during a game, yes it's unresponsive at times, but I can live with that.

PES 2009 is FAR TOO SIMILAR to PES 2008 for my liking (that's not a good thing) and I just think Konami are either being lazy or just don't really care about the game anymore, it's not developed much since coming to next gen consoles and I don't really see where the future of PES lies...

You can clearly see I LOVED PES...I'm a member since 2004!
4 years now...
I used to edit kits and graphics of pes and WINING ELEVEN!(Japanese version)...
You can find stuff I used to do with the name Panakas!
I LOVED PRO SOCCER and hated as hell fifa series...
But now...Guys...Open your eyes and play fifa 2009...
You can't judge a game without playing it...
I played fifa and pes this year and fifa is great!Pes is just an update?Not even an update...
The transfers arent the correct ones...
As for Master League...I WANT TO SEE MASTER LEAGUE IN FIFA...
The transfers are much better...You can swap a player(you can't do that in fifa).
You also take a team with no good players and have to build a team by buying great players!THIS IS WHAT I WANT IN FIFA...
This is why I still buy PES...I LOVE THIS MODE!!
Anyway...I will also buy pes2009 because I love footy games...
2 great games for us to play...

:realmad:. well i had to calm myself down after hearing that (ijoke) but on a serious note have you even played the real game of PES 2009? what are you comparing? PES 2009 is a complete overhaul and by far the best football game ever, of course this is my opinion but if you are a pro fan and by this i mean strive for competitive and hard game play, pro 2009 will make you salivate.

The demo is nothing like the real game nothing at all, bare in mind that the demo was only a 65 - 70% completed version.

Ha ha, no worries - I expect I will saying how good PES2009 is in two days (I fancy skipping my maths lecture, we're only doing revision after all) and I doubt I will play FIFA at all - I';ll probably sell it, knowing me.

Well i am quite sad to hear that, fifa has come along way, but its not hard when it was starting from absolute shit, and as i said it is a respectable game, and i have had many arguments like this with my friends and there will never be a winner, it is opinion i am still dumbfounded to say the least that people even looked at fifa 08, let alone purchased it, but some say it is the best game ever.

i certainly would not purchase fifa but if somebody gave it to me, i would play every now and again.

And i totally disagree, as i think even 99% of fifa fans, would be grudgingly admit, that allthough some things are debatable, the game engine/player engine are far superior on pro, for example, fernando torres and pepe reina run the same on fifa...hmmmm
we are straying quite of topic, so i would like to relate this to the original question.

It is for these reason that i would not take anything from Fifa and put it in to the ultimate gaming experience that is Pro Evolution Soccer.

Fifa = Football game
Pro = Football simulation (see where im going)
