Bad eyes? haha, yeah his glycoma was fixed years ago but for some strange reason, most likely the hundreds of thousands of pounds Oakley pay him, he still wears the specs.

Are you sure? And it's also one of his trademarks and makes him easily recognizeable.

to me he was a better player before he had those awful looking glasses.....so maybe he should take them bakc off (if his glycoma is actually fixed) and he might start playing better again :)

Haha, he's one of the best player imo. With glasses he is that too. With Barca he was very good. A couple of days ago Holland played Sweden again and he was the captain and played very, very good. Strong with the ball, sweet passes everywere, just playing as himself. BTW Holland was with a totally new team, and they were okay, but the defence in the first half was a little nervous.... Think they will be more dangerous now than they were the last couple of years. Finally playing good and dominant soccer without the fear to lose the match. Thank you van Basten...

I think Davids was much better before the glasses. When he played for AC Milan and Ajax he was a top pivot man. In fact, wasn't it Davids that forced Patrick Vieira to look for a new club because he couldn't get ahead of Davids in the AC Milan team.
