Important hints to make PES2008 working at best

I was the one who opened the " moaning" thread in this forum. Cuz dreams for PES 2008 and realites were too distincts. Nevertheless I've contunied to play it and still think that it is the best game ever...

PLease try to abide the points that I'm going to list below.. Don't hesitate, give ur time .. Believe me you'll get the most entertainement and satisfaction...

1- Choose two teams with licenced kits

2- Go to Edit Section and make all of the players boots (of these two teams) as white shoes ( no.5 in boots selection) - it makes the players movement smoother...

3- In edit section , decrease the " dribble speed by 10" and increase " Defence attribute by 10" for all players of these two teams...

4- Go to team-edit section- TEAM SELECTION for these two teams and disable all ARROWS (Running arrows) in tactics. (With arrows, AI plays as near perfect, inrealisticyl, if u disable them, u'll get what I mean)

5- Choose the third stadium (for minimum lag) I cant remember the name .. something like Estadior .. Season: Summer / Afeternoon / Lattice pitch

6- make it 20 minutes.. With Plain ( white ) ball. (white balls make it more realistic and smoother)

7- Play as TOP PLAYER (Difficulty)

And go to match....

You cant believe how realistic and satisfactory the game is.. If u like it, never hesitate to edit all teams in this manner..

I'm on my championsleague trophy right now. I chose 44 teams all edited by me.. I'm managing all..

ceysin, thanks for the post and while perhaps this might improve the overall gameplay of the game I think your slightly missing the point. The fact of the matter is we as consumers shouldn't have to be forced to make such drastic changes to the game in order to ahieve optimum gameplay satisfaction. It should come as standard on the disc!

I mean what you are suggesting is that we only play as licencsed teams meaning Man U, Lpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are all out of the question when they are some of the most popular teams amongst pro evo players! It all just seems a bit drastic to me when it should be up to Konami themselves to address these issues!!

However, the beauty of these next-gen consoles is these updates and I'm keeping all my fingers crossed that they are working flat out to continue to iron-out these problems.
