New Official PES3 Impressions Thread

Some people get the game and suddenly it's all chaos in here.
RIGHT!

This thread is only to be posted in by those who have PES3.
No Questions and no discussions.
There is a new Questions thread so use that.
For discussions, go to the General Discussion thread.

We don't want to know where you got PES3 from and we don't care. No details about CD/DVD medium or anything like that in here.
Just post about what you have found in the game itself.
Pictures are welcome.

I've played PES3 and the 'Captain' writing in the formation screen is still in Japanese.
There is a little overlapping text in the post-match player stats where an extra 'successful' is written in the background.
But 'Stoppage Time' is in a nice and smaller font which fits the box perfectly and looks good. The ball is very white indeed.

Oh the shame of it all - my first ever PES3 goal was scored by Emile Heskey!

My first goal in PES3 was.......an own goal from a Chinese defender after a Zidane cross :D

surely the speed will be increased when the game is released for the masses tho? its going to be the biggest footie game(championship manager aside) of all time, itll have to be much quicker.

My first goal on my mates PS2 was a goal from Edgar davids. A screamer of a shot from about 25 yards out. It hit the bar and went in! MY PS2 wont play PES3!

Roma, Milan, Lazio, Parma and Feyenoord are licensed, I´ve applied the patch from evo-web for PES3, the flags are now the same as in the jonboyo patch for WE7, and the CL ball replaces the ugly default ball. The speed is the same I think, I like PES3 more than WE7, I like the fact that there are patches available now for the European version, not only the Japanese. The advantage rule is still crap, but dribbling seems to be easier now.

Read my post in the editing section, thread from Mumpleaser, the patching question, I don't have the time for the next 4,5 weeks to be very active on the internet generally. I can start this topic of course but somebody like you or someone else who cares about the forum should help me, the same with the WE7 patch thread, post your links, there is a new patch from Jonboyo but nobody seems to care about that. :( :confused:

I've just started a new thread about PES3 patches, but it's not only for links, also for discussions, I've explained the details in the first post there. Think there's no need to make it a sticky at the moment, let's wait 1,2 weeks.
