I don't know how many of you out there agree with me but in terms of gameplay, PES2008 really let me down. Since trying out PES games since Pro Evo 2, i've always loved the game. However, i have become increasingly frustrated with the crap that comes out of PES2008. Hopefully, this can be amended in PES 2009. For example, players on your own team headering or kicking the ball into your own net, goalkeepers not jumping for the ball when it floats right over them, or referee's giving out a red card whenever they feel like there hasnt been 1 for a while. Also, on many occasions i have dominated a match and got beaten by a sh*tty last minute corner that Stremer heads past Ivarof to make us lose. I hate it when you run in front of some-one with the ball but you havnt collected it, just all thse little things are SO frustrating. I must say, free-kicks have become MUCH better, but the consistancy of the game has gone straight out the window and i just hope PES 2009 doesnt kill off the Pro Evo series.
Personally, PES2009 should be a footballing game and not a management game. Leave that to LMA and FM, i remember the good ol' days of "ronaldo V football" on the PS1 and if only PES could reproduce the magic that previous games have set out in the past, this could be magical.
Master League is the most important thing for me here and if they can improve that, the game will be quality.
Let me know what you think
P.S. (i didnt think the songs were too bad
.....I love the Dream Team one)
