This is the best no-build-up volley I've ever scored, so I hope everyone likes it. I was really pleased when I scored this goal because I have had so many long volleys go off the post and out, or just be saved by superman-esque goalies.

It was scored on PES 4 on 5 stars in an exhibition game between Inter and Benfica. The goal scorer was Javier Zanetti, who only has shooting stats in the 70s although he was in excellent form.

Yeah, volleys on the end of slick passing moves are better. But there's a special place for volleys where you ram the opposition's clearing header back down their throat. :)

Keepers seem to think they can't move until the ball hits the post in PES 4. But I don't believe he would have got to it.

I don't like it. The keeper should have EASILY saved that. The techinque of the volley wasn't that good either.

LOL. The technique of the volley is perfect thanks to my use of R2 to get Zanetti in line with the ball. It wasn't possible to hit that ball on the volley any better. It's not my fault if you don't like the animation the game uses.

Only one of the replays is at real speed, and that replay clearly shows the ball travelled far too fast for the keeper to get to it, given that the ball crashed in off the crossbar. You do realize almost all the replays are in slow motion, right? And I can assure you the ball hits Zanetti's foot in exactly the correct place. There's a reason you're the odd one out in this thread - you're wrong.
