Does anyone have the slide card for PS2 and the swap magic discs? How good is it really? What kind of games does it play? I'm a bit sceptical about it see and all the shops that sell chips in my area say it doesn't work as good as a chip and they would'nt sell it anyway as it isn't that good according to them. Is this true?
They also said that a lot of their friends buy them and have returned them cos they dont work too well. And I'm a bit curious as to why only websites sell them? I tried checking the Bargain Pages aswell cos there's always someone selling this kind of stuff from their home and surprise surprise - nothing there for once! I got my cartridge thingie for my PSX to play my games from India/Japan/Singapore/China from someone advertising in the Bargain Pages in 1999 so naturally I thought its similiar cos of the "knife trick" and there should be sum adverts there but there wasn't. I mean all I wanna do is to play my god-damned copied CD/DVD games that I get from Asia!! I dont no anyone who has the Slide Card and Swap Magic so I dont know who to trust at the moment.
In case you're wondering, the games I buy from Asia are imported from Japan and America from so called "black markets". (They sell them in broad daylight in public!) Anyway, I get each game as cheap as 50p each if you convert the exchange rate to pounds.
Getting back to the subject, most of the games from Asia are CD games so can anyone tell me how good the Slide Card and Swap Magic performs on CD games or ripped DVD games burned onto CD which I think most are and how well they perform on DVD games aswell please. (I remember that GTA: Vice City I brought from over there is on a CD despite it being on a DVD everywhere else in the world).
Anyway, I'm thinkin of buying it from psxservices.co.uk. Would you lot recommend it? If you do recommend it, why and if you dont, why not?
By the way, thanks for reading the whole of this post. I know it must seem like a barking on and on but can you lot help me out because you lot are almost 100% correct when it come to PES3.
