Inserting Kits Problem (PS2)

Right - i have downloaded all the kits.... (they were .bin versions)

Followed the instructions to import them into the game
All went well CD burned fine..... turned PS2 on and it came up with the 'Playstation 2' logo - which meens it reckonised the CD

HOWEVER - thats where it ended..... nothing happened, i left it for 5mins and nothing - obviously this is the point where you chose your language.....

Anyone help in solving this problem??

Couple of things you might want to know....

1. I was importing the kits into a patched version of PES (jonoyboys latest patch)
2. The file i extracted was called data_e.afs - is this right??, there are others data_s / data_g etc... etc.....
3. When I was placing the afs file back into the cd image (bin file) is was smaller than the original.... reading the instuctions this was normal.... i told it too fix it.

You have to update the afs before doing anything, and after importing files with another size than the original ones you have to use the filesize plugin to generate a new SIZE.afs
I dunno if the second step is necessary in PES3 though, at least it is in WE7:I

How do you update the afs??

When i opened it and tryed to insert the kits it did make a copy of the file before inserting the kits into the new one - hope that made sence.

Probably with the "update" option in the main menu...
check the readme of the AFS Explorer if you´re unsure about the configuration settings

Did you made a size_X?? Via the plugin in AFSexplorer.

Nope to the above
