It depends really, some people offer different prices. If you want a good chip then it would cost around £60-£100, well thats the price around my area I dont know the prices around other places

Mine is chipped, but I think that Swap magic is edven better, 'cause you don't loose guarantee, and don't have to open the console.

depends mate...if you use it to watch dvd tehn no..as you can kiss watching dvds goodbye if yo got ur ps2 patched, but the upside is that you can save money, go to thailand and buy shiteloads of games, patch your PES (important)

? I can use mine to watch DVDs and it is/was chipped with a Modbo v1.1 clone, I killed it by going in to the menu. I just bought, well a week ago, a ghost 2.0 to replace it from mrmodchips.co.uk, they have a few starting for less than 10 squid< not an advert as i have not received mine yet!

In answer to your question, PES/WE10 is a different game once patched, sooo much better!
