is it easy to get a penalty in pes5?

I want to know or in pro evo 5 a penalty is easily given. that found I in pro evo 4, as it happens, terrible annoying

On the harder difiiculty levels, all I have to do is dribble with the ball in the box and 99.9% of the time; an opposition defender will make a reckless challenge and give away a penalty.

Very annoying and unrealistic.

normally the opponent will try to tackle you and even a slightly tackle also can caused the refree blow the whistle?

I find that Konami have some what reduced the amount of reckless tackles inside the box. Yes, they are still some penalties given away very easily but not half as much as PES4.
You sometimes get those little fanny-taps though where it is just a nudge.

Put it this way, if you are the one giving away the penalty you go crazy. Yet if you are the one getting the penalty you are happy.

From what ive heard of WE9 it is far more difficult to win a penalty. One chap said he only had 1 awarded in 15 games. Im presuming PES5 will be similiar to winning eleven.
PES4 had too many penalties this has definitly been addressed.

Also when I got the penalty too easy himself I became angry. I do not want win with only penalties.
Therefore I hope that you only get a penalty in PES 5 at terrible tackles

played a master league game, newcastle vs blackburn i think. ended 5-1 every single goal a penalty!!! only thing that suprised me was that i managed to put them all away.

hi im playin on 3star and altho i havent gotten a penalty yet, iv given 1 away, and it wasnt for a 2 footed combo or anythin. was puttin pressure on 'the ronaldo' with sol campbell from the side in the box, just as ronaldo turned the other way with his back 2 sol. i kept holdin down x like a retard and campbell pushed ron over from behind and madrid got a penalty. liked it cause it makes the game so much more realistic.
and 4 ppl who say that pes5 is tougher i say ya its true in one way. wats really happened is that its gotten more realitic so altho it is 'tougher' to carve out chances there are a lot more ways 2 carve them out now, so its also easier in that u can do more. i always think of it like a real game and try and score, and this game is def the closest 2 the real thing 2 so far, for me.

In Winning Eleven 9 it's quite realistic although it's possible to kind of dribble and hope the opponent will tackle you. In PES4 I would just go and dribble in the box and always get a penalty but in WE9 I've tried that and 90% of the times I tried I failed which immediately resulted in a fast counter of the opponent...

I think it's quite realistic because normally I would be reaaaaally angry when I'm not awarded a penalty and when playing WE9 I get reaaaally angry as well.

I can't wait to play PES online, I'm really going to dribble through the opponents box... I hope you'll be able to communicate through the headset. That was really funny in FIFA. Yes, yes *scratching head*.. anyway, i think they improved it. In WE9, its a bit harder to get penalties. In PES4 though, it was bloody dreadful, you' get a penalty almost every game.. Im sure in PES5, penalties will only be given if the tackle looked real bad..

Im playing WE9 which is essentially the same as pro, what i have noticed is that penalties will be given for any foul in the box from "little nudges" to full blown "nasty tackles" which means you have to be careful when defending in the box (more realistic really, just make sure you dont keep tapping X or O unless you want to give away a pen) wheras you had to do/be on the recieving end of a badly mistimed tackle in pro4 to get a penalty

Your talking a load of bull!!! ive just played 4 games as real madrid against chelsea on 5* and all i did was dribble in the box. At one point makalele fouled zidane and the ref did'nt give a penalty! I did'nt get a single penalty from any of the games!!!

I'm not talking bull.

Try this:

Get one of your attackers to dribble with the ball (so that he is now in the penalty area) and just try to hold onto the ball by moving up and down, left and right etc.

Watch what happens and then come back and tell me that it's not easy to get a penalty in WE9.

Well hopefully Konami have improved the part of the game where little slight contacts knock a player to the ground, then awards a penalty for it... Was annoying...
