Is PES3 and WE7 the same game???

i know that this is prolly a stupid question, but i saw on gamespy that we7 just came out. i had pes3 months ago. is it the same game? if so y did it take so long to release we7. did they add nething?

WE7 was released a few months before PES3.
The version that just came out is Winning Eleven 7: International

Pro Evolution 3 was a bit more updated than WE7, it had an extra move (flick the ball up), and had more licenses...but essentially it was the same game.

The US version of the recently released WE7:international is just a port of PES3 for the American market, so essentially the same game.
But the JAP version of WE7:International is more updated than any of them. New rosters, better crossing, more animation etc. There are also 6 or 7 languages to choose from including English.

This has been stated clearly plenty of times.

WE7 came out in Japan in August 2003.
PES3 came out in Europe in October 2003.

WE7:I China, WE7:I Korea and WE7:I-USA came out recently - and are basically the same as PES3 with updated teams.

WE7:I Japan came out recently and is a sequel to all the previous games.
A WE7.5 or a PES3.5 if you prefer. Updated with new features and better gameplay.

But who cares - before PES 4 Winning eleven 8 will be released and - as a rule - will be ten times better like PES4 :)

I don't understand this point of view at all. A lot of people say that WE7 is better than PES3 but I just can't see it. I feel that the shots and the crosses in PES3 are much improved over WE7 and once you've patched your game I'd rather have PES3. Even though the commentary isn't very good, it's a lot better than listening to some Japanese bloke shouting 'Shootoo!' every now and again!

Only one question : did you play WE7 International - Jap ? Evidently not and from this angle of view, i understand that you "don't understand" :)

I never listen to the commentary but most people prefer the Japanese commentary to the English one.

I'd recommend that everyone who can play imported games try out WE7:IJ. Also if you've had enough of PES3 and want the next new version. Well worth it.
