graphics are awesome, especially (in fact, only if) your computer can handle it. find out if your computer has the capabilities to run PES3 with all the details maxed out. the game runs like silk on my machine, and i couldn't be happier.
however, aside from graphical improvements, i don't know what you wouldnt be able to do on the ps2 version that you can on the PC version.
don't be fooled into thinking that editing in the game would be easier on the PC, as it is such a direct port of the PS2 game that you can't 'type' with the keyboard to enter names and stats, you still have to select the letters from a grid with your cursors/joypad.
So the only reason you should get the PC version is if you have a really good PC (and joypad or PS2/GC joypad adaptor) and you really, really want to patch your game but don't want to mess around with your PS2.
im gettin a 2.6GHz dell computer with intel extreme graphics so i presume this will do the trick. anyhoo is patchin the PS2 game easy-ish or will i run into loads of difficulties?
cos if i do i mite as well get the PC version
NOOOOOO!!! Don't get Dell, the Gfx card is W@nk and very difficult to upgrade, try Evesham.com or Alien
Don't listen to yonson as there are editors around so you CAN type all the info.
ahhh fuck!
too late cos i ordered it a few days ago.
oh well ill just stick to the old fashioned way (PS2)
what do u need to patch PS2 game? fliptop, cd burner anything else
hey yonson, do u know where you can get the PS2 controller adapter cos that'll probably be handy cos most PC joypads are balls.
www.lik-sang.com will do PC-PS2 joypad adaptors, so do www.play.com i think.
lik-sang.com also have PC-Gamecube joypad adaptors, so if you have a gamecube (and like me prefer that joypad) you can get one of them.
Biker Jim, can you tell me where to find that editor where you can type in the player names and details so you can then transfer them into the game, as I've never seen or heard of it but would find it very useful....
