The referee has no part in the game except in cut scenes. It would be more effective if their was a well known footy player on the cover instead of this bold evil eyed italian ref. I am guessing he'll have his proper name in the game

Actually, if you look at it straight on, he seems to be pointing to the person behind you, if that is the case. That's right. The guy buying FIFA. Hopefully, coercing him to succumb to Collina's obvious intimidating pose and pick up PES3. Konami are so smart!
