Is WE gameplay same as PES2010?

I'm asking this becuase the last time I played Winning Eleven was on the PS2. I think around PES5 was out and I absolutely loved it. The gameplay seemed to play better than PES and had a lot of extra features that PES didn't have.

Wondered if this was the same with the PS3 PES. I'm playing PES2010 and gradually liking it.

If anyone have experince with WE on PS3 please share.

This is a good question i really enjoyed the WE Demo PES feels good this year aswell though. Im not sure what the full game of Winning Eleven is like this year i might pick up a copy just to see if they are the same:)

WE and PES game play had been always a bit different on PS2 era from my experience..However, I haven't played WE serise from PES 2009.
I'm thinkin of getting WE2010 tho.. just because of faster updates (hope i can download) and more various OFs (i don't really have an option to choose one in usa).. hope i don't see much difference in gameplay.

I just read a post from korean WE forum. This guy played both WE2010 and PES2010.. and speed of the game is a bit different.
but keep in mind that this is just a personal opinion.
if game speed of PES is 3 out of 5, WE is more like 4.5 out of 5(faster passes etc).

I prefer the faster speed of WE, because playing with the default players feels unrealistic with the slower speed. They are just *too* slow. I know the gameplay is the same since the defender will get there the same time, its just I can't stand looking at these guys dribble and turn.

WE and PES are the same game. However, WE has an option for higher difficulty, which is superstar level, above top player.

So the Superstar difficulty is only for WE? Got my copy of WE a week back and was wondering about that and have been playing the ML and BAL on Superstar and loving it.
You really need pass the ball quicker and just running down the wings only works for speedsters :) Although I have noticed that defenders tend to back off when you're running straight at them down the middle inviting you to shoot from long range.
