I know a few homosexual men but they hate that word - they are far more comfortable with being called gay - not that it makes a difference. To me I am not really interested in any of my mates sex lives so why should the fact that your prefer men make me think of you any differently ? About your family and friends, just tell them straight out. If they don't accept you as what you are, then they don't deserve your attention.

Yeah I just feel homosexual is better. Most people use the term 'gay' as an insult, so if I was referred to as 'gay' then I guess people are trying to insult me.
