Why do you think Shyne's and Diplomats music are 100% fake? You don't think they had to struggle in life, you think that the record label contract was just given to them and that they didnt earn it? If you think you can do what they can do then you go ahead, but if you cant then you really cant criticise. Can you?
gunplay ur so dumb you know, shyne would still have big hits and great sucess if biggy was around. look at pop music you explain to me how s club juniors or the bob the builder song gets to number 1! theres to much competition around now a days so biggie wouldnt be the best even if tupac wa around it still wouldnt mean he goin to be number 1 with all is tunes or have great sucess with every song.

Are you telling me that if you was serving ten years in prison then you wouldn't have a breakdown, i mean to be trapped within the same four walls every single day, with the fear of people murdering you and bullying you in prison so you can be their bitch. I mean if you think you can handle that then hats off. But he is a good rapper because everything he says, he has experienced, he uses his own past in his songs, he doesnt make up some crap or rap about shit matters, he is not a fake like these new rappers who are only in the game for the money, shyne is trying to make a point and he's doing it through the hip hop industry. He doesnt where bling or show off his fancy cars, he says what he wants to say and he isnt scared to say it e.g. the 50 cent diss- for the record.

Obviously serving 10 years in prison is a mental and physical challenge, no need to lecture me on that. You seem to be missing my question. Why would only Shyne be the rapper able to cope ? Whether or not Biggie was alive might affect the amount of money being thrown around, however it would not change the fact ath Shyne would sign with someone in 1999... And dont say that hype got him the 150,000 Godfather sales, cuz for 3 years ( late 2000-2003) he totally fell under the rader. He worked his way up from pretty much sscratch, as his first album got very little recognition (it was pretty rough around the edges).

Shyne09 is telling the truth. And i didnt say that kanye west would break down in prison, all i'm saying that what shyne did is remarkable, how am i supposed to know if kanye west will break down because he hasnt been sent to prison. But to do what shyne did and to keep his head up through the hell and through the struggle is amazing. Stop putting words in my mouth because you act like you know it all when in reality you dont know anything.
Gunplay, when i said that Shyne doesnt use fancy cars or bling in his videos i meant the videos he made before he went to prison, i would've thought that was just common sense, of course he doesnt use bling now, how can he, he's in jail. If you can't even use your common sense to think that i was obviously talking about his videos before he was sent to prison then you got a problem son.

I could make a whole thread, from the likes of Talib Kweli, Common, KRS One etc, don't use bling or cars for videos.
