nice job on this patch, i was expecting a patch like this 2 b ready in like a months time but u guys seem 2 have it ready in time of release!! nice one guys, much respect, keep it up !! is there an option file 2 go with this? how do i put an option file into a bootable cd???

it seems mumpleaser has it working on his hdd, so its just me then. ill start from scratch and let you guys know what happens. also if anyone want info on using a hdd with your ps2 give me a pm.

On your option file you can edit the kits and these are the kits you view. If you patch your game these patched kits will only appear in your game if you have set all the kits in edit mode back to the default ones. This is because the patched kits files replace the crappy default ones. So you need an appropriate option file for the patch you use. Hope that is clear. If not just let us know and we'll try again :)

I'm a complete Luddite, and have only just sussed out importing option files using an X port!

If you want to patch the game does that mean your PS2 has to be chipped?

Could anyone send me through a patched CD, or is it specific to your PS2. I'd pay postage cost etc.

You're not allowed to discuss selling patched games on this forum. Keep it to PMs or emails if you must discuss it.

To play a patched game, your PS2 needs to be chipped or modded using the Slide Card or Flip Top Lid. Check the sticky thread in the General Editing section which shows the methods you can use to play patched games.

I believe that discussions of running the game on the hard drive deserve a new thread. Possibly in the General Console discussion.

Hi all, do you guys have this problem where at entrance of a match, the 2 teams are identical?

I love the kits, but wasn't into the background images as the quality won't that great. Is there a way for me to keep the PES4 background, but just update the kits?

Sorry, don't mean to post any negative comments...Just wanted the game to be as great as it could be.

Its not two teams in the tunnel! It's one team waiting to come out as the other team is waiting on the pitch. It varies from country to country but in England the teams walk out of the tunnel together, in Spain the home team emerge from the tunnel and the away team are already on the pitch just like in real life (might be the other way around, can't remember!).

As for the other question, just extract the images you like from your original PES4 ISO and keep them safe somewhere. Then patch your ISO as usual and then open up the AFS in WEPES Graphic Studio (latest edition). Just import the images back into the game over the patched images. Simple. But a lot of work.........

No, I mean...say I'm playing manchester united, at the tunnel, I would get 2 manchester united teams and players (identical) talking to each other...It's weird.

I see, so there's an update to this jonboyo's 1st patch...

Got a couple of desperate ?'s:

- Can someone explain step #6 a bit properly, so us non-smart people would understand how this works? Quoted from Zygalski's post:

Someone give a more detailed explanation?

- For what teams have the chants been added? Any Liverpool, Arsenal, Celtic and Chelsea e.g chants added in the update?

- Is the 'Carlsberg' logo on the Liverpool kits fixed? (The 'C' in Carlsberg is just a C, not C____, like it should be.

- Are these similar teams in tunnel issues in the new patch update, or just a result of bad patching?

- Any idea on HOW you can completely change the background musics, as I would love to do that. What must be done before I can start changing?

is what the Liverpool strip looks like in this patch.

With the SLES_527.60,OVER.AFS files it's a matter of using Apache to replace the files already in your ISO with the ones that come with your patch. For deep questions, it's best to ask jonboyo himself at evo-web.

And no there aren't any updated faces since all player and team data is on the option file - so it depends on which file you use or import.
