Just Luck or skills?

IMHO this PES 2010 ONLINE its a 30% skills and football knowledge and 70% luck...

Because...

-The inestability in the conection and the button lag.
-The defensive AI with players doing what they want and not follow my orders, even crushing between.
-The way all games is played with big teams, just running with your wings.
-The random effect in the centers and keepers reactions.
-The random shootting system ( because of lagg you cant control yours shoots efectively)
-There is a LOT, I SAY A LOT of INJURY TIME GOALS...mostly because GK bad reactions... maybe its something in the code... Its just.."peculiar".


Finally, the game ONLINE its the most fustrating experience with online gaming in my entire gamer life. Its simply beyond my nervs, the game is not funny anymore ONLINE, its just stressing, because you are playing against cheatters with luck and you are playing against the game no with the game.

No mor onlyne gaming for my with PES 2010...i am gonna wait for 2011... and maybe try fifa just for online... i dont know...

The way I see it is that even if you have great football knowledge you will still be beaten by players who hasnt. And thats just becuase they know the game. They know they cant pass in that situation or shoot or whatever and thats what you have to learn in pes. Even if it would work everytime irl its not sure its working in pes. Its big difference how they react in this game and irl. Ive heard people saying pes is a simulator... and thats just funny. It isnt. Maybe it aims for it becuase some aspects are simulated, but tbh it has a long way to go before it can be called a simulator.

If pes was a simulator I would win every match becuase I have great football knowlegde.

It's mostly all to do with luck and what team you choose. Even a crap player can win easily using Barcelona, like some guy beat me 3-0 and I was Man Utd. I've won over a 100 games more then I've lost but this guy beat me easily with a winning record of 16-27. He lost more games then he won yet he completely owned me.

I agree with this being the most annoying online game I've ever played. I thought fight night 4 was bad, but at least with that game you got beat by the better player. In this it's often not the case, you get beat by the better team.

I think I need to play more Modern Warfare 2, I've neglected that game. I know I'm crap at MW2, but I can accept that. I enjoy playing the game. I don't enjoy playing pro evo online, too stressful, and too many mouthy gobshites. Like some French guy who calls me " a son of a bitch" for hogging Eto'o, and he's doing the exact same thing with Ronaldo.

Theres a lot of truth to what you say. When its laggy YES its all BS and luck but when it works well I don't think it is, I've played the same guys over and over again and if you're better you'll just beat them regularly but when you add the lag factor, especially when you play Messi or Ronaldo its very hard to stop them.

While ETo'o is good in PES, hes no where near what Ronaldo and Messi are.
