having spent ages editing the club teams with the players i wanted in them i then went into master league mode expecting to see the result of this but it seems the com has automatically sorted the players best suited to the positions! any ideas of how to keep my original teams

did you save the option file. if you did there has already been a post on this somewhere i think but i cant find it. ill have another look.

That being said, do one or both of two things:

- Edit player position. Give the player a star for the position he plays in the formation.

and/or

- Edit the formation to accomodate his position - e.g. - No OMF in a 4-4-2? Change a SMF or CMF slot to a OMF.

If you started your Master League campaign before you did all the editing of formations etc it won't take effect. If you start a new ML I think this will correct them

Only the formations will stay the same, only if you do it before starting a new master league. The line ups will change, this is because the computer puts in the "best" line up out. I understand, Barry Hayles in left back!!! :rolleyes: However you can sort it out with tweaking of stats. E.g make stanic worse and then they will play Veron instead.
