Keyboard problem

Does anyone ever get the problem where the key strokes are 'sticky' and make you move up 2 rather than 1 option at a time in the menus? (very annoying as sometimes it takes ages to 'catch' the option u want). I used to get this now and again but just restarting my computer fixed it. Now it does it all the time and i can't get rid of it. It happens on my mates computer now as well now he has the same graphics card as me (Radeon 9600PRO) He didn't get the problem before in the couple months we played it for when he had a different card.

I've tried every combination of graphics card driver version and PES3.exe and it makes no difference. Very strange as it DID work perfectly for weeks on my system. I've now completely formatted my system and am going to do a clean install and hopefully that might make a difference.

The main trouble is I use keyboard to play it as well, (i hate gamepads :) ) so I can't even play a game as the players just keep running in the same direction. :(

In some machines there is a setting in the bios that usually effects how many keys you can press together at once... this would effect you obviously if your playing pro evo on it... My advice is to either find this setting and change it or ask me later on... or GET A JOYPAD U POOF!! lol!

Well...
The solution is:-
Right click your "pes.exe" file and click properties, and under the compatibility tab check the option "Run this program in compatibility mode for:".. and in the combo box below select "Windows 98/Windows Me"

Have fun ;)

Take it you didn't read my post? There is no problem with multi pressing of keys as I have had it working for ages with no problems. As for joypads, no chance. Why would I want to when I have everything i need on a keyboard? I've tried a joypad with Pro Evo once but I didn't feel like I was in control really. I hate that d pad for moving.

I'd rather kick my PC down the street than use one of those funny controllers.

Cheers anyway. :)

Barry, be mindful of adding things to the game and always have a backup of the file before you edit it, in case something like this happens you can switch back pretty painlessly.
