Konami And Ea Together?

BENEFITS-
EA-graphics,presentation, popularity,license.
KONAMI-the best damn gameplay,a revamped master league, the game modes tight controls and that would mean more cash for both because they would have a monopoly over the soccer games world wide.
If you review all these points you'll see it would be a good idea.

Yeah, it's a good idea but the FIFA players woould be like "But Pro Evo 2 is unrealistic and the games are too high-scoring" and then EA would just take over Konami and make the game crap again which didn't really help anyone....
(takes a deep breath)

Any decent group of patchers of WE game can make kits and flags etc which look much better than the work of EA.

Commentary is the only issue that Konami need to sort out.
In WE7 (and logically, PES3 too) Brazil are now licenced but Germany aren't any more.

i'd rather have real Brazilian names than German names.

I think konami and EA joining forces would be bad for us, the people who will buy the game. There wouldn't be any real competition, except maybe TIF. No competition means sloppy games as games developers don't have to try as hard when developing the game.

Let's hope they've employed someone who uses Cockney rhyming slang for the German's names...

Jancker... hee hee

I don't think it should happen because in a couple of years i think the world will realise that PES is the best game cause it's getting better all the time so think how good its going to be in a few years

While we're on the talk of call-names. My personal favourite was Burchet's (bird-Sh1t).:) Made me giggle while in the middle of a match. Unfortunately they changed it in PES2 to Bur-Shey.

Championship Manager: Konami will be heaven.

Konami should create a linkage with CM. To make it even more realistic CM must create all its players to look like in real life. With this merger, the game should come alive in the form of two CDs. The first CD (CM based ) should contain all the players stat, faces, transfer market , league tables and whatever accessories found in the game. The second CD (Konami based) should focus merely on gameplay.

so what ur saying is one CD life fifa and one like PES???
No, what I meant was that the Konami CD should contain gameplay and a tournament/league format to receive the data downloaded from Championship Manager. As far as faces, stats, hair styles, kits, flags, leagues, international teams, stadiums, boots/balls are concerned, it should be handled by CM. It is also important the players downloaded from CM should resemble those as in real life.

Actually that wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

Am I the only person in the world who thinks CM is a waste of time? It claims to be the most realistic management simulation, but in doing this it succeeds in removing the "sandbox" appeal of many management games (unless you play as Chelsea, of course). It is just too hard to get into unless you play as a big team (or Newcastle) which I am not about to do. I simply don't have the effort to put in, with so few visible rewards. I say this as a gamer rather than a true football fan, not to mention as a Sunderland fan who is outraged at Kevin Kyle and Marcus Stewart's postions as "Backup members of the squad" while Tommy Smith is an "Important First Team Player". Outrageous.
