Konami DLC erasing my edit data?

Got a quick question.. Im about to embark on making an option file.. but before I do I want to know...if i start doing everything now, ie: editing faces,stats, boots, etc.. when konami update their winter transfer DLC or whenever, will it erase all of that? I really dont want to spend hours and hours doing this if its just going to be erased.

Any help?

more specifically... when the winter transfers come and they change players around, will the players (I edited) that changed teams still keep the stats, face, accesories that I gave them? Or will they revert to original stats?

If they do revert back does that mean I have to save EVERY player that I edit? (which would be a lot) Im not worried about created players, teams atm.

It's probably something you'll find out yourself; hopefully not the hard way. I've seen DLC & version updates change boots, but really that's it. I haven't noticed any stat, face changes. You should be fine.

Thanks for the response. Im looking to do a option file with stats from PES database and some faces and proper line ups etc. dont want all that to be for nothing if I do it.

I installed new DLC patch with some new boots and balls tomorrow and that destroyed my league emblems, so I found option file again and installed it, and all my edited players and created stadiums were erased. Whole today afternoon I making it again. Never more...

It will overwrite your entire edit data, yes. Save your teams by exporting and then add them in again by importing and do all the transfers yourself is the only thing you can do or backup your edit data install the pack and then add your edit data back in and do all the transfers manually.

If you want I could help you with your file just pm me. I've done some psd stats for championship teams in my pro evo as well as adding real life faces. I'll be uploading them to this site in 2 weeks when I have the hassle of my exams gone and you can use them.

I think I will just do the premier league then for now. So I just have to do the xfers for one league. Then when the DLC comes out just import and then do the rest of the leagues.

Im looking to find a good base option file to start with. MrGametight? Maybe... Or does someone know a better one to start with?
