Hello Craig,

Thank you for your email of improvements and suggestions for Pro Evolution Soccer 6. It is always good to receive constructive criticism from the players of our games.

I shall be forwarding the points raised in your email to our development team for their consideration.

Kind Regards,

Richie

I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean but make up your own mind

Tried to read most of the replies as my ricky gervais podcast downloads. Obviously good points, the best response was the copy fifa, if they can do it we all know the peeps at K can. The worst, for me, was the comment about the k-peeps being profesional, no they are not, thats why we get spelling mistakes, transfers being overlooked, etc. etc.

My biggest complaint for K is that they ignore the gamers themselves, they have a wealth of resource that is year in year out is overlooked, after all loads of fans make option patches, kits, logos etc. Let the fans do that part for them, then they can concentrate on the ML and the finer parts of the game.

finger out lads!

The finances issue has been addressed in Pro Evo Soccer Management! I've been playing it recently, and you can choose to have your funds in either British Pounds, or Euro's. I chose Man Utd, and got a starting balance of £45 million to buy players and manage wages of both players and staff. Hopefully they will carry this through to the new WE/PES, but I doubt it. Transfers are still as stupid as ever, though. During the pre-season, Arsenal bought Robbie Savage, and AC Milan bought Liam Lawrence!

I agree with nearly everything the topic creator said, there's a lot that needs changing. I'm mostly annoyed with the stamina issue. Most top flight players don't get fatigued that easily, certainly not goalkeepers, and usually not defenders. Rio Ferdinand has played almost every game for Utd this season, and also for his country, yet when I have him in my ML team, he's absolutely ****ed after 4 games, and I have to give him two weeks break. What the hell is that all about, eh? I also have to keep switching between Schmeichel and Buffon because they both get tired after a handful of games. How often have you seen a goalkeeper having to take a break due to tiredness? Has it EVER happened?

I also find that players get injured too often. A player with injury level C, will get injured so often it's not funny. They should change it to injury level - Darren Anderton, and then I could finally understand why my players got injured AGAIN after only being back for one game.

My only other complaint, is that fouls aren't punished hard enough. Or, there aren't enough red or yellow cards going around. The CPU oppenent hardly ever fouls me, and most go through an entire season and only pick up 2 or 3 yellow cards.

BRAVO killercam!!!
I totally agree with you!
You have pointed out all of ML week points..
But unfortunatly you can't expect Konami to complete our wishes..
But I'm with you all the way..

Not a bad set of posts (Mumbles remarks like Pobody's Nerfect)... sounds like Konami need to put some of thier revenue back into the game. I

'm a recently converted FIFA addict (this could be because i've grown up since FIFA '99)

I always loved the clean menus, chart soundtracks and the great commentary (stuff PES doesn't offer), but it's nothing if the game's as crap as it is.

Unfortunately i went out and bought FIFA06... *slaps himself silly - biatch* and it seems like Pro Evo's game model and physics engine needs to be bolted onto EA's Research, Asthetics, style and 'Supporters aspect' Realism.

I say this because i got really into playing the carrer mode of 'F*fa' 06 *cough* shite *cough* and this was largely because between playing those annoying games of football was a brilliant management game.

With buying and selling at real world Costs, Injured players followed by tabloid front covers of the sun newspaper ready "Star striker Thierry Henry axed from FA cup tie due to fractured ankle", Superstars you wanted to transfer telling you "Crystal palace is not a prestigious enough side" (it was brilliant having the money and knowing that Mr Joe Cole had a reason for not joining you at Selhurst park for that pre-summer game against Norwich) it was a genuinly awesome 'game'.

Simulators have always been asthetically crap (i think PES5 is a sim rather than a game) but there's no reason EA can't scrap it all and re-think thier football engine... i rekon what your asking for is FIFA's Career mode bolted onto PES's KICK ASS footie sim.

If Konami don't pull a finger out and deal with things like the shocking commentary/music/Homo-eroctic-humping-orgy-celebrations or a completely re-vamped Master League mode, i rekon with the power of EA they'll set a similarly small group of geeks it took to make PES such a great game and force them like starved hamsters to create a physics engine just as good as PES and make the brand obsolete...

(go play fifa and tell me they haven't got the career side of the game right)

Quick rant, i put this everywhere...

F&$k you Xbox 360! what do i do with my vastly edited option file on my old Xbox now!!!! Back to playing against Merseyside red at the red couldron... :'( although nice one for not making FIFA 06 compatable at all :eek:P

Peace, great post KILLERCAM

I always get fifa (play if for a few days and then back to PES), I am an avid fan of the WE and PES series but I am convinced that FIFA will get there one day, and when they do they will have a game on their hands. for me if 06 had manual passing I would play it a lot more, the management side is of the game is good, just the actual game is lacking, but not by too much on this effort.

just to see if i get this rant...
Konami has succeeded in making a game that is more realistic, fluid, challenging, and captivating than fifa2006 or whatever...as far as gameplay goes...
what they need to do now is work on making the other aspects of the game better.
i.e. real names, improved ML etc. (see above)

now, i havent played the pre-winning elven 7 versions, but isnt this what they are doing anyways... i mean they are trying to make the master league as good as possible without requiring a 400-page instructions manual to explain all these minute details... imagine a first time player startring a master league.. i can see where it would be overwhelming...
oh fuck it
then they should go play exhibition matches or back to fifa
whatever

Real Money...

The problem with this is that it would make the game waaaay too big, look at how much memory it takes up anyway, that's without actually having to process anything. Look at football manager, it eats away at pc's RAM and takes up a huge capacity. That's without graphics. What you're asking for isn't really possible.

I am sorry if this causes offence but WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT ???
Mabye this is because I am a ps2 user, and RAM isnt neccesary, but I see it like this:

Tony Hawks Underground: 4.3GB
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006: 4.2GB
Grand Turismo 4: 4.3 GB
PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 5: 2.08GB

It can even be compressed to be used on a CD-R!
All Konami need to do is a bit of research and change a few numbers and add a few symbols and walla. Real Money.
Too much memory? I don't think so.

PS: Real Money is a great idea.

i belive your wires are cross, he be talking about internal memory (ram which for your infomation is in ps2) and you seem to be talking disk space, thought hes points flawed anyway as it has to caculeate point any way so why not just change the figures
