konami killing pes editing

konami is changing for the worst when it comes to editing, ps2 you could edit all the kits, in pes ps3 only some. now the stats have been changed so you can't create teams easily by going to psd. i still enjoy the game play but thats only half of pes for me. sometimes i wish they would make pes with no licensed teams, an option file editor would help. next year i will probably try out fifa not because it s better but to take a brake from editing this game.

editing is making me want to vomit this year. If only EA could make a real game this would be over with. Just finished second complete OF insertion to find problems. I think PES2012 is working against us instead of with us when it comes to editing.

there probably back room deals with fifa were they let konami get away with some things as long as they agree to cut out other things in editing. or konami wants people to upgrade every year like fifa. the other thing that maybe is going on is that because this is Japanese game they don't like to cheat around the licenses . i wonder if winning eleven forums in japan have this kind of editing ? i never heard pes representatives talk about pes editing features

that back room deal was my general belief of why emblem slots are less than what is actually needed.

and you are right, they never provide a guide to editing which is sorely needed. very strange.

wrong wrong wrong take a look at the PC game for starters. Since 2008 face editing has become more intricate, we can now use the Konami league aka Bundesliga in ML and BAL campaigns, base copying players lets us save important guys especially presets, exporting teams means users can share their creations without going through the hassle of downloading an entire OF. Not to mention easily backing up teams when DLC update comes. The only thing people tend to complain about is the emblem slots but imo I could give a shit about crap teams like Wolves and Bolton having a proper emblem. Stats isnt such a big deal many leagues have their own index and they get updated constantly here.

i was talking more about the console were i think they get most of the money from. not pc were you can just edit every think with a patch. i dont care about the emblems slots.

So your main point is that the stats have changed but I've just said a whole bunch of things that Konami has actually done to improve PES. Look at the option in 2009 and look at what we have at our available now...

I don't see the point of them reverting the PES league (read Bundesliga) back to default when you download DLC, though. All of the original players in that league is pure fantasy, so there's no reason to mess with those players at all with any official patch or DLC.

And you also have the issue with double encryption this year, but I think that was implemented in an attempt to make cheating harder rather than to make 3rd party editing harder.

2009 and 2010 pes i had for the xbox 360 and i never used in game editing i patched the dvd directly so i dont know about the editing in that. but yes i guess for me personally the changed stats is a problem and also not being able to edit licensed kits. these are my personal beliefs and should not be taken personal unless you made the game.

I have no beef with the edit mode this year. In fact I'm in love with the stadium editor it's by far the best thing imo.

@ironcity never in the series we have been able to edit licensed teams plus editing is great, stats are better in order to get better changes is inevitable if not we would have been stocked with the same game every year so guys like you wont complaint this year pes is back to its glory days like in ps2
