Konami Please Sort Referees Out

Ive Played over 120 matches now, and it becomes more and more apparent that there is a serious issue regarding referee strictness on this game.

In the afore mentioned 120 matches ive not received or conceded a single penalty, and beleive me i've tried...

This "Referee leiniency" seems to be more aparent in an around the 18 yard box were it seems like you don't even have to go for the ball. I could post video upon video of evidence to support my claim but im sure you all share my plight?

This honestly is my only real issue with this game....

Not sure i agree there dude, Whats the point in sorting online play out when u don't get a fair game off line??
I agree sorting out online play needs to be done, but surely they should get the match sorted first??

The refs aren't just a little bit poor or anything like that, they ruin the game. Inexcusably bad. Part of the reason I traded the game in...

I completely agree that Konami need to sort the referees out. I disagree that they are always lenient. The problem is that they either give nothing for a blatant fould, or they go straight for a red card

1) They should not give so readily, players red cards when a foul has been committed in your own half. Time after time I've seen my players sent off for things which would not have even been a booking in real life

2) The referees seem reluctant to give penalties, time after time my player has been tackled from behind, taken out with no contact with the ball and nothing has been given

In my opinion the referees decisions ruin this game

yes I agree with you , but the problem is not the penalty itself rather than the whole fouls thing ...
referees are really stupid and should be fixed

I find myself stop playing the game when I play a match that is tackle happy and i get taken down too often, i get pissed off and start tackling everyone back. I play on top level so the AI is really aggressive, The game is fine except the refs are very frustrating.. I think Konami's plan is not fix the ref's so people break their computers from frustration and have to buy new computers from Japanese made parts lol.

Come on Konami you been making this series how long and who was testing this game before release:

tackles from behind no foul
tackles after a player passes no foul called
taken down without the AI even touching the ball no foul called
pushed off the ball when had possession no foul
overly aggressive AI in the box will tackle you at any cost but never get a penalty.
can be chopped down no foul, but foul for a little standing tackle?

The biggest part of the tackling with no fouls is when attacking on the flanks if the AI starts to catch up like a track runner (and i have lennon)they almost always will tackle you from the side but they touch my legs before the ball and that is a damn foul, the AI is so predictable with this though so I rarely attack from midfield on the flanks.

They should fix this in the winter transfer patch, or at least acknowledge that there is an issue with the refs.

really im gettin annoyed by the lack of fouls and penaltys... CPU chop you down from behind or after the ball is passed and no foul... and when they fouls you wich is maybe 3-4 in a 15min game max....they give no yellows even tough the foul was harsh, its either nothing or a red card....its like yellow is not an option... lool
cant understand this issue since pes always aimed toward gameplay realism but their completly off on the foul section...

wait till you get as far as i am

saw this and thought id reply considering where i am. i recently played my 789th game and i can honestly tell you i still havent had 1 penalty so you have got a long time to wait till you get as bad as me.

i would love this to be sorted out in the next game so much or i am going to turn to fifa and it kills me to say that so much. or even better a patch where it could be solved so this game could be improved sooner.

hopefuly they'll read this and we might get a solution.

I still want to believe that it was just some developers mistake and he forgot to change the code right before launch day. I refuse to think they did this on pourpose and the "testers" didn´t notice it. Probably it is just a case of changing a "0" to "1" and include it in the next patch... but maybe for some " selling strategy" they will not fix it and have it done only in 2011.

A lot of times I just wonder... if any company that works with sports games made a "perfect" game, most people wouldn`t by the next year`s version, they would just update the rosters and wait for the game to have some really big improvement to buy it. It is a seeling strategy to leave some bugs, for us consumers want to buy next year`s version hoping it is fixed.
