theirs only soo much a game designer can do before you need a real person who plays football, to actually play the game..Like in collin Mcrae rally the run everything by him first..They should have a Striker, goalie, defender and midfielder to test game play and realness..and im talkin about like real players or ex footballers..same with refs they should get colina to assesss situations in a simulation, its kinda funnny how you can't get sent off for pushin sumone on a goal scoring opportunity. They shoud do internet questionnaires at their own site to get good feedback....Don't get me wrong, the games the illest thing since, sliced bread

peace

I'm thinking Konami might have had interviews with players on a few occasions. There have been rumours.

Generally they seem a bit cheap to do anything like that. Let's hope they do something like that soon.

I don't see why they'd need to use "actual" players - as you're all calling them.

You're implying that they'd need professional footballers to check everything, but if they would indeed need this, then surely the imperfections they'd spot would only be noticed by those professional footballers, and 99.7% of the Pro Evo gaming world wouldn't be none-the-wiser, anyway?

I, for one, have been watching and playing football long enough to be able to tell when something is wrong - it's not like professional footballers sprint 10m any different to an athlete, or even an astronaut. More beta testing, yes - the need for professional footballers pointing out insignificant mistakes? No.

Surely they will have made enough revenue on PES3 to do a better job with PES4. I mean it has gone Platinum already.
Does anyone know if Fifa is platinum yet? They must spend an awful lot more on the licensing too.

They must have some sort of motion capture for the graphics though don't they?

I had a feeling that they didn't use motion capture, per se. FIFA, and Actua Soccer use motion capture.
