Konami To Investigate Cursor Change Problem

I thought maybe people were making too big a deal of the cursor change problem.... until last night. I was winning 1-0 with 10 mins left and Sampdoria played a low cross in front of two of my defenders. I tried to press the change cursor 3 or 4 times but it stayed on my player on the wing and both my defenders in the box watched the ball roll past them, leaving Cassano free to tap it into an empty net. So frustrating!!!!

Luckily I managed to grap an 87th min winner to ease the annoyance :)

Something needs to be done about the cursor changing though!!!

Haha, glad you got the win in the end! :)

But yeah, I wouldn't settle for a "PES 2011 2". I'd get bored with it too soon.

Gotta say without word of a lie that about 75% of the goals I concede online are a direct result of this.

I use semi assisted now but problem is when you factor in lag and the pressure/defense line 20 whores who just launch through balls at you all match eventually one of them gets through, and its just down to luck if they miss. If I could rely on the proper assisted switching to select the relevant defender in a timely manner hardly any of those telegraphed through balls would work.

And also happened again in same match, press tackle, 2 guys do it in exactly the same time.. Luckily only this twice it happened but still.. Gotta also try switching off the "automatic tackle" thing, I think there was a possibility. But I really think this was cause of cursor change bugs.

This happened to me a couple of times. I conceded penalties and free kicks close to the penalty box, which as far as i know turned into goals. My patience with this game is running out, unfortunately...

It surprises me that more people haven't moaned about the removal of manual change player. What on earth possessed them to remove it?

Is it just me, or was the cursor change better on the demo? I managed to play some demo games without any indicator above my players, as it pretty much gave me control of the right players. But there is no way that would ever work on the full game.

It seems that the only way to play either PES or FIFA is with one fixed player as the cursor change is so awful.

I also think passing is worse on the full game.

As I've said before, the cursor change problem is REALLY noticeable during loose ball situations.

A ball can sit in your box and no matter what you do, you can't get an appropriate player. Or conversely, you make a pass that is deflected towards another one of your players, but you can't switch to him as the game only lets you switch between the passer and the receiver. Thus making you run 10s of yards to pick up the loose pass while you have a player STANDING on the ball.

True, it's a problem. It doesn't happen too much, but enough to annoy me and many other PES players now.

it annonys me enough when the ball drops right in front of your striker in front of an empty net and the game just wont allow you to switch to him

I hope KONAMI sees this comment. for god's sake FIX THIS BUG IMMEDIATELY!! some mthrfcking "AUTOMATIC" bugs makes me concede dozens of goals already!!
there are these bugs that needs to be fixed:
*) sometimes passes are "automatically" delayed for a split second so the game doesn't play like we wanted to.
*) "automatic" cursor changes that changes repeatedly. it's friggin' confusing, makes me lose control of backline players and makes backline blunder that causes goals.
*) when I'm attacked, I cannot change my goddamn cursor to a player who's ahead of the enemy dribbler. It always changes to the the players who chase the dribbler over and over again so I cannot intercept them.
well, that's pretty much my complaint in this game. only three, but I swear to god it's annoying me to the max.. :realmad: :realmad:

And some bugs that the guys above me said, too. cannot change cursor to the neares player to the ball in a loose ball situation.

Dont know if this is entirely accurate, Japan is one of the most advanced countries in terms of technology. Just seems to be another error in a long line of errors that konami has made in regards to pro evo. Lets be honest, are we surprised that two years ago even the most ardent pro fans did a turncoat job and bought fifa instead? Not really, although i remained loyal and im sure alot of you did also Good on you!). Pro has improved this year and if you need proof just try playing last years its like night and day. Anyway back to the point, the cursor is extremely annoying, i play my ml with my friend and worst thing is when the balls played into the middle onto unmarked player and it changes man!
