Konami Update - To bother or not to bother

Im mad to get stuck into a new Master League campaign but have put it off since the games release due to this feckin super-D-dooper Konami update.

It seems since I dont have Broadband at home anyway that I wont be able to get the update as Konami wont make it available as a PC download. So unless I go to the trouble of bringing my console to someone elses DSL connection, im screwed.

Because of all this, is it worth worryin about the update? Should i just use one of the brilliant op files on here and dive into the ML? What Im afraid of is that later versions of these Op files will be created with the applied update in mind and wont work properly with the original game that i may always have.

All info/opinions welcome!

I have allready got a pretty good option file (i paid over the odds for it though), but all the kits and league's and players are correct. I hear the konami update when it arrives improves the defence of the players in the game, so i will be getting it. I read somewhere that if you allready have an option file applied to the game, then the konami update will not change anything.

I, like you dont have broadband connected to my PS3 and I've merged
ArsenealD's, Von's, Ingie's, hmm 2 other OFs I cant recall and I believe I am all set. The gameplay is perfect, the kits are superb and the transfers are up to date. I will be editing all further updates by myself. In other words: UP YOURS KONAMI PATCH!
