I have tried pretty much everything to get my pro evo working normally. It worked a hell of alot better on hd but still with slowdown when a player doesnt have the ball at their feet. Last resort call konami and moan! The guys response was that its because it hasnt been launched yet and hasnt gone live. When I said how can going life make a difference to whether it has slowdown or not he responded with their will be a patch (he didnt say patch i think he said encoder but I cant remember) that will come out in the first few weeks that will solve the issue. I asked how I was to get this patch and he said it will happen automatically. Im slightly happier but still not sure this is just what there saying to shut me up. I dont understand how they can just put a patch onto your game without you downloading it or anything. But atleast it is a positive. Still id rather they delayed the game 2 weeks and sorted it out before they released.

Well its not possible for a patch to happen "automatically" without a download of some sort.

But if they say its going to be fixed in a few weeks that is good!

But like you said, they should of just delayed the game and ironed it out!

Can't see it happening myself. Seabass the slant said he was clueless as to what was causing the slowdown. You were right when you said he was just trying to shut you up and get you off the phone.

Im just glad I can play it on the PC as it runs fine. If there is a patch then I'll get for PS3. I wonder how it runs on the xbox 360?

I haven't got the game yet but if it is as bad as everyone is saying Konami will have to do something.
And he might of been clueless at the time, but it doesnt mean that after the developers knuckle down they won't be able to fix it.

Somebody else try calling even if you dont have the game see if you get same response specially if you know more about this than I do all I know is it jerks. Get number from www.konami.co.uk go on console games and den go on contact. Post ur replys

it seems odd that its automatic, if this truely is the case, i will be very happy but what about all the people who arent online with their PS3's

I did think this after reading what I had put. So i have called back and spoke to somebody else and they were alot more helpfull. He said theres alot of problems with all of the versions I fought it was just ps3 and that it is in there interest and there will undoubtedly be a patch for the game. He said the only suggestion he can make would be to install the game data to the hard drive. Tbh its not good enough and he said they have to wait until tommorrow for the official release date to see what the problems are.

ok sounds like I'm sticking to my PS2 PES6. I'm not shelling out over $80.00 to import a game that is full of bugs and runs like crap. I'll wait till they sort the problems out or at worst wait for the official USA release in Feb/March. Maybe by then they will have all this fixed and working fine. What a bummer though, this was my most anticipated game EVER! ohh well :-(
