With the dive feature in the new game, wont everyone be diving in the box in the last minute if losing??

Surely if you were 1-0 down you'd do anything to keep the game going, and wouldnt mind having players booked late on.

I just thought with all the cheating in the online game where would it end.

I'm talking about when your losing by a goal and chasing the game then the opposition starts fouling you and passing the ball between their backline!!?? so frustrating!

Well, the AI beat you to it, in the demo I usually get the computer diving in the last few minutes of the game. This happens when the game is tied and we're in injury time, and the AI's last attempt at getting the equaliser is not going very well. As soon as the attacker gets in the box, he goes down.

So far, the ref didn't fall for it. Not once. I guess it's like in PES 6 when the keeper went up to head the ball in the last corner. That usually didn't work, did it? Well, this doesn't either. But if it ever does work, I'll simply throw my controller at the screen... and then play again to see if I can do it as well :D

They should put up this online rule, that you're not allowed to dive more then...idk 20 times or somthing per match. Or that you cannot dive in the box all the time..

Aye it's an interesting thought anyway, will be good to see how it works out, i've tried it many times on the demo, only worked once out of about 60 times, i guess thats a good thing though.

The thing i've yet to figure out with the dive is when does the cpu decide when to give a foul? is it if it looks to have been timed right or by random chance i.e. you could take a dive when no players surround you and get a free kick/penalty.

Anybody shed some light on this?

Some clever shit online will be able to come up with a way in winning a free kick or penalty with the diving every time.

Its a bollocks and pointless addition to the game.

I saw a video where a guy dived when a defender was running along with him, but the defender didn't look to be putting much pressure on the attacker. I haven't played the demo, but I think if you're close enough to the defender, and far enough away from the ref, you could get fouls easily. Obviously, I'm just guessing here.

As long as someone doesn't work out a 100% guaranteed way of winning a pen then we'll be alright.

I must have had 30 tries on the demo and every single time I got booked.

Also if it was the last minute and you were in the box wouldn't you shoot? Surely if it was some cheaty wanker he wouldn't dive, he'd got to the line and cut it back.

so whats the difference if you tackle a breakaway at the last minute (and get reds al the time at the end) I don't mind playing the game with 2 man down the last ten minues... I also don't mind diving to get the results... you guys have to learn that its part of the game liking it or not (most people like it when their team does it and not when its done by another team) alongside with dodgy reffing (offsides and fouls that the ref doesn't call).. so stop being whiny bitches and master it so that its a tool on your side. '

Ahh the DIRT goal.

Ive heard they've made it harder to do it in this one.
My 1 mate does it all the time, and it was soooo easy in PES5 but not so much in PES6.

Also on this...I've had the computer bring up a keeper against me, but could never do it myself, never knew how to??

Is it possible to do? and on the new game now apparantly you can choose who goes up for a corner, so would you select your goalie also??

I don't think i'll do it that much,might try it a few times, but if i have c.ronaldo in my time, i might do it alot more often :w00t
