On Lomungtung there is something called "5.1to7.2.04.rar" in the folder called 5.1.04. Is this the latest and best you're talking about Zygalski? Is it just one file now then?

I think I've just answered my own question by opening my f&¤%&g eyes!! Sorry about that Zyg! The first .rar file in that folder is called 5.1.04 and is 134MB . The other .rar file is called 5.1to7.2.04 and is 18.1MB. I take it this is the main patch plus aforementioned update? Please confirm and make an old man happy.........bloody eyes!

I downloaded both the large patch (134MB) and the smaller update (18.1MB) and all seemed well until I tried to open them using Winrar. I couldn't!! Everytime I tried to 'unpack' these rar files all I got was a message saying "unkown method" or something!? I'll try and paste in the actual message as soon as possible, but can anyone help me? Has this happened to anyone else? Could it be that the files are corrupt? Please help!

Mumpleaser, it could be that you need a newer version of WinRAR. If not, there is probably something wrong with the downloaded file, so you should try to download again.

And now for something completely different...

Could anyone explain to me what exactly the confusion rip is? I've always wondered about that.

I'm playing with a patch from jonboyo from november last year I think. But the instructions in the 5.1.2004-patch says that it only works with confusion rip. Is there any way I can use it with my own DVD-rip as well? Are there any instructions?

I believe that the Confusion rip is a CDrip of the game which people have downloaded.
But I have applied all of jb's patches to the rip I made using his DVDripping guide and they all worked fine. There is sometimes a binblock error message but just ignore that.

Do you know anything about my Winrar probs Zygalski? Have you ever heard of anyone else having such problems? Have you ever downloaded a corrupt file? Could you open it with Winrar anyway? Please help!

I'll answer my own question there then! I was using an old version of Winrar and it didn't let me open the patch. I've now managed to open the patch + update and I'll let you know if I'm successful in patching my PES3. Nice........

Hello Zygalski...Remember me???Well i ripped my PES3 dvd-rom in a friend's pc and now i managed to create a patched cd version( 7.2.04. over 5.1.04 ). Awesome!!!!I keep in touch and wait fore latest versions!!!I am in loved with patched PES3!!! Thanks a lot for your help and for your excellent quide..CYaaaa

I haven't heard any of it..Sounds like you did a mistake in patching or burning and your cd freezes... Try again from the start and follow excactly the forum guide steps..Good luck
