Does anybody know if the transfer and salary points system is finally becoming a cash system? I bet it doesn't cos konami won't be arsed about converting to different currencies, although they could tie that in to what language you choose at the start like PES3. It just makes it that bit more realistic.

the transfer mode should be improved!that's what i tell ya....the current transfer mode is shite...utter shite!sometimes we can't transfer players because there are no unregistered spaces in the team?wtf?chelsea has 1000000 players and then juve has 20 or so...makes no sense..

Chelsea do have more players than Juve in real life though, hence the different squad sizes in the game.

The first impression from that guy is most worry, dashing the same?!?!?! Impossible to catch up??? Man I don't want to be gloomy but that sounds shite :|

What about all the new passing system people were talking about where you can select different people, and the new crossing system, why hasn't he mentioned this?

Shit this is worrying, I've said all along we may of been expecting too much and to be honest it sounds like I Was right :|

i dont think dashing is worrying, its just adding more reality by showing the difference between fast and slow players. thats an improvement. plus i dont think he had enough time to explore in a 5 min game.

i wud wait until 5th of august b4 we start makin judgements, at least then ppl have at leats played and explored the game for more than 5 mins, as it sed though he never played on PES3 or WE7:Interntional, so this guy cud of been a complete stranger to PES or WE, so he may not of een able to tell a lot of difference

Travis Bickle

not to be taken seriously
The dashing sounds good, it does piss me off when you play Owen on the shoulder of defenders and sometimes he can't outrun Martin Keown. The money thing is the only thing I can't stand in pes3, I just can't relate the costs of players to each other with the stupid pes points!! And on the regeneration of retired players, doesn't sound to bad to me least you can say "he's the new Ronaldo" and actually have some basis for your arguement.

Lol Travis.

The dashing sounds good, except for the fact its the same as PES3. Didnt they say there was new dashing style/moves/techniques.

The fact he says it is very similar to pes3 is what worries me.

the thing that troubles me most is the heading. i dont want to be like vieri at euro 2004, missing most of the header or off target, man i hope heading will be a bit easier than it sounds in the review/impression

About the dash:
It IS changed a bit, however most people were worried that it would be like in FIFA, that you have to tap the button many times. That´s why he said "no need to worry about it, it´s similar to PES3". And I think that´s very good. Also the fact that defenders can´t catch strikers so easy is very positive, that´s the most annoying part of WE7:I. You run with Henry past Stepanovs :)D) and 3 seconds later the catches you. Bad stuff ;)
He hasn´t mentioned anything about passing system because he only played one macth, 5 mins. He had only time to check out a few things, he said he will try to gain more info next time.

im glad to hear that. but when will he play another match and review it? i hope he plays a 30 min long match and write a fully in depth review/hands-on impression

he can´t play more than 5 mins as it´s in a game-store, you have to wait one hour or 2 and then you can play maybe 5 mins.

how can't he had mentioned the passing system????what can you do in football without passing even in 5 minute matches????weird....

Even in a 5 minute match you would be able to comment on the new crossing system, new passing system, new aerial through ball system, heading etc.

Good point about not being able to catch up, he made it sound like a negative aspect but I suppose it is actually a good thing, as long as it is the same against the AI and in 5 star mode players magically catch you up :| - although I'd put my house on that being the same in we8, because japs are japs they are used to making the AI cheat to make it harder.

No offence to the lad who played WE8, but I think my 9 year old sister could of made a more useful report than that. Some vague crappy post is not what we want...;[

So I assume you´re able to find out any new features in the game after 5 mins ? ;)
Please think logical, the passing system hasn´t changed that much, maybe he always only used :x:, I didn´t know how he plays usually, but 5 minutes are not enough to find everything out about the new system

maybe he was just too into to it to notice much change in the passing system, but his review was not vague. it sounded quite informative. lets see you make a review/hands-on impression of WE8.

Wixon, thats a stupid comment. OK, the set squad size is fine, that Chelseas is bigger than Juve for example. BUT its really annoying when you can't just ADD a new player to a squad when editing, its like.. replace or nothing, if I recall. or swap. I think thats what people mean. As a point - I tried to make my local team over someone or other and had to exclude about 5 players because I couldn't register them - and even though I'd created them etc another time, some payers wouldn;'t show up on the roster. Its this kind of thing that was annoying - you cant whholesale edit. Another examnple - once a player is already created, you cant edit him and change his nationality, right? That really annoyed me, because you created your team but couldnt then register them for england for example, as there werent enough english players in the team before so the edited one had to end up french or sometihng.

Dashing - I totally agree that PES 3 was lacking in this area - its great to have different speeds as its an integral part of the game, but it IS stupid when Henry, Owen, other quick less known players like Southamptons Pahars and so on can't burst past someone, or if they get caught up by Keown or Henchoz for example just ebcause they have the ball. It simply isnt like that. Its a thin line between too mch emphasis on pace and not enough of course. But it should make a difference on the ball as well as off it.

Any news on the Premiership? GRR

well guys according to his post, he was playin against someone who wasnt giving him any chance to explore. eventually, he was defending throughout the game and scored from a corner kick, and thats about it. that should be obvious as why he couldnt have a better chance of exploring things.
