9 is a very good score for Famitsu. It's one of the harshest review magazines in Japan supposedly.

I'm not sure what the three 9's are. Could be three different reviewers. Or Graphics, Sound, Overall.

Not sure if these have been posted yet. Couple of Reviews from Japanese magazines:

FAMITSU PS2 - 9 9 9

The playstation - 9 10 10

If the review is read right it should be 36/40? Cuz they usually have 4 scores equallying 40 right? If not then it's a review equallying 30 and then that means 27/30! I'm crazy either way 'bout now!

Yeah, when it goes from 1-10 then 9 obviously isn´t that good
And how do you come to the conclusion that Famitsu is the official WE mag ? Actually they rate very strict, so 9 in average there is quite fantastic

Anyway, What score did WE7 get in Famitsu? That might be a hint as to whether 9 9 9 is a great score

About the famitsu ratings, a person who can read Japanese told me that it´s not graphics/sound/gameplay or sth like that. It´s a general rating, and we have 3 numbers because there were 3 people who had to test it. I should also add that those ratings are independent from each other.

so obvioualy one of the 3 dudes wasnt that impressed compared to WE7 so he gave WE7 a 10 and WE8 a 9 ? mmmmm
