heres to clear things up for you:
WE7 - regular game
PES3 - European version, some upgrades some replacements
WE7i - international version, more than 1 language available in game, plus there might be some new changes and an update on roster and etc..

errr, aactually there are two versions of WE7:I one is that international one, with the language thing, but its essentially only released in Japan. then there is WE7:I US. That is or was basically PES3 renamed for the US market, weird I know but oh well.

edit: also that thing about the edit, the more I think bout it, the more I think it could well be a sponsor edit tool. Cos it looks as though he was manually drawing that WE, and not selecting it from a template and then manipulating it. Wonder if anyone can confirm this? when its being narrated there, does he mention anything about editing sponsors? Come on you Jap speakers, nead ya help!! where are yas??

the US kind is just a name that it goes by because the konami of america didnt like the sound of WE7 so they added the international to it to make it sound good i guess. but its like the PEs3 version with minor changes too.

basically the european version is a bit slower as i have found.

i play we7i but ehen i go to my friends i end up playing pes3. the defending in pro evo 3 is shit. it is too hard to defend. crosses are absoloutely shit in pro evo 3. the advantage rule is fucked in pes3. keepers are a little better in we7i. htere are a few new animations i wei. pes3 was an almost exact port of we7 but with the flick up move added. the passing was a little bit smoother but it was sloewr.

SO the general consensus is that it is quite likely to be the case that its worth, if you had to choose, getting winning 11 8 international japanese version instead of PES4, if the normal trends are folowed?

The defending on pes3 is not shit, especially when you play against a human opponant, i'm pretty damn good at it, games usually finish with just a couple goals. If you know your marking and positional play in defense and of course you have a good set of defenders it is possible to defend well on pes3, I can do it, so with a little practise anyone else can too. Crossing is also not too bad, if you get in a good cross, crossing is usually about timing and weight of the cross and a few other factors like players heading stats etc, so don't believe it when people tell you pes3 is a load of shit, cos its quite good, the only real downer is that it suffers from AI problem, apart from that I'm lovin PES3 still.

edit: oh yeah, i guess so, when he means editing uniforms, you could probably edit the whole kit how yuo want then? or atleast parts of it? but it will be great if the editor was less linear, meaning you get more control over what you want on the kit!!

Great! so then you can get the vodafone logo for man u or O2 for Arsenal etc...and if they have the nike kit designs available, then that'll mean the kits will look pretty good!! so in that case, i'm just hoping they have all the EPL teams in, even if they aren't licensed, its ok if we can fix up the kits and sponsors!!

no its not possible to edit the Vodafone Logo...it's not so easy as you think :)

I think you can now edit the clublogo and make an adidas, puma or Nike logo for the other site of the chest...

no no no no. u guys r getting it the wrong way here. PES3 is not tweaked to the worse. no. its like this. PES is aimed at euro market right? therefore, PES always had crossing, headers, and shooting better, while WE always had dribbling better. thats how it always was. duno if they will continue doin this

well to me WE is better too, coz i prefer better dribbling ;) even though i do miss crossing and headers sometimes so i switch to PES :p
