Letter to Konami Part 4

First of all, I no longer play PES4, I hate that game. I prefer the previous version, its way better in my opinion.

Anyways, this is what I’d like for PES5:

I'd like the game to be slower, PES4 is too darn fast. I agree with Kevthedrummer, go back to the PES3 speed.

I want better referees and better goalies.

There's also a problem with the kick-takers. I have to pause the game virtually every time to change the kicker or thrower. That pisses me off! If you play PES3 you'd see that they've actually got players correctly taking free-kicks from the zone that they're playing in. So why change it? I have no idea!? In PES4, you have strikers taking free-kicks from out side not the opposition’s area but their own. Too many stoppages delay the game and a 15 minute game takes 20-25 minutes instead. So it’s not flowing football, its frustrating football. Are they trying to emulate the NFL or something? Stop, start, stop, start, friggin’ hell man!

Also, I'd like the pitches to look like how they’re supposed to.

Well I liked some of the ideas, but the theme coming from most of them was:
"Let's have a merger of Mortal Kombat and PES". Nah.

I've said it before and i'll say it again - bring back the game speed setting that was in the ISS games on PSOne. That way, everyone can find the right speed for them, and everyone is happy.

Personally, i thought PES1 was the best in the speed department, much slower than PES4.

PES4 plays at Premiership speed, non-stop and end-to-end. I think the game should reflect how the game is played in different countries, eg slow patient build-up play in spain and italy, and quick in england.

I don't. The Premiership is the best in the world. And the speed we have in PES4 is the most realistic one. I really don't want different speeds with different teams.

So you don't want realism, and tactical differences between teams?

A lot more new national teams should be on that list, when you do the asia and african cups you start off at the knockout stages which is crap and south america isn't complete without bolivia and venezuala, so new national teams, particularly african and asian ones.

I do, but if you'll start changing speeds of games for each team or even each league, first of all Konami will have many problems and second there will be unfair disadvantages.

I agree. I'd like to see the likes of Ivory Coast, Ghana, Algeria from Africa, & Canada, Bolivia, Venezuela, Honduras, Guatemala from the Americas, & Lithuania, Estonia, Georgia, Bosnia, Israel, Iceland, Belarus from Europe, & North Korea, Thailand, Iraq, UAE from Asia.

Failing this, please Konami get a few licensed national teams.....those japan and s.korea kits look so good.
