I am a big fan of the Pro Evolution Soccer.. Pro Evolution Soccer 3 has given me a great time and im loving it.. It's improved so much from PES2.
I have this reall great idea for Pro Evolution Soccer 4...
There should be a mode called " Professional Mode".
You can play upto 4 players. Each person chooses 1 player and plays the game... E.g. You can choose 1 player for each person so say i choose Thierry Henry of Arsenal.. You can play with only theirry Henry in the game. Instead of Manager Games you are you player.
You can decide whether to turn upto training to keep yourself fit.. Player stats should not go up more than 2 for each aspect of skills and you keep your self in shape as your turn up to training and do extra training. The harder you train the more the manager will like your attitude and have better relationship with the manager..
Off the pitch you've got to handle the media... As you can tell them if you wish to move, whether you're happy, comment on other players and what you want.... E.g. Michael Owen can claim that he wants UEFA Champions League play as Liverpool have not qualified for the competition. You can hold interviews and chat with manager.
Make the game so that you play like the real life season. You can play in the English Premier League, Spainish La Liga, Italian Serie A, and the German Bundesliga. As you play in the Champions League if your team qualifies for it. F.A Cup is also another challenge as your team goes for the league and cup double...
In the match you are given instructions of play and what your job is. If your the Manchester United Defender Rio Ferdinand your jobs during the match could be to man mark Michael Owen during the game, do not give long balls, and more.... If you are a Midfielder you could be given instructions such as play down the flanks or put through ball through your main goal scorer.. If you win the ball alot, score goals, take the ball of the opposition, win headers you can be picked in the line up.. And if you play badly you could have to watch the match from the bench and earn your change 10 - 15 left in the game or earn your respect in training.
As i said before stats should not go up more than 2 of each aspect of the game to keep the reality. You can choose your boots which can change 1 or 2 stats of your game, hair style, goal celebrations and etc... You can train at home as well as you can go for jogging but training too much could keep you out of the game and could cause injury for quite some time of the season and may have to watch the game from TV. Even if your injured you've got to handle the media and is still exciting to play while your injured..
If your not earning your places in the game you can tell the media you are unhappy that your not playing, you wanna earn your place, you want to move to another club such as, your manager is being unfair etc...
You can ask if you can get a rest for games and training to keep your condition healthy..
THIS GAME I HAVE TOLD YOU ABOUT WOULD MAKE A GREAT HIT IN THE WORLD AND WOULD JUST BE LIKE LIVING AS A SOCCER PLAYER AS SO MANY OF THE HUMANS DO IN THE WORLD..
THIS HARDCORE SOCCER GAMING SHOULD BE IN "PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 4"...
THE REASON I'M SENDING THIS TO KONAMI IS BECAUSE KONAMI CAN MAKE MUCH BETTER GAMES THAN EA SPORTS.

not to be pissing on your fire, but that is a shit and unorignal idea.

if you want a game like that, play RPG's or ISS Millenium, which had an RPG mode in it...it was a huge flop and was a laughin stock.

it makes the game alot more realistic.
the only reason it was a flop before is coz it was made by rubbish people.
konami could do a good job of this since they are known for there gameplay not licences and so on.
i dont think its a good idea for it to be pro evolution soccer 4 because thats the way we all love it , we dont want it changed.
maybe they could bring it out on the side to see what response they get like call it PESLIFE or something towards that.
we will never know until they make it.

iss millenium was made by the same company that made iss, iss 98, and those where classics, so at least know what you're talking about beforehand. konami made the game, so you made a bit of twat out of yourself there

actually iss mellenium was made by the same group as international superstar soccer1,2 and 3. And they are the same group that made the N64 version and they were flops.It was the same Company Konami, but a different group of people thats why the gameplay was totally different, didnt you notice this?
theres no need for calling me a twat iam just stating what i feel and know, just like every other person.and dont criticise coz it isnt going to prove anything.

I one major improvement I want to see is get rid of the pause if the ball goes out of player. As it stands, when the ball goes out, the screen go's black, players get reset to their positions and then we carry on playing. Id love it if they had the whole game continuous ie. ball goes out of player, your player runs over, picks the ball up and quickly throws it for a quick break up field.

ISS 1, 2, 3, pro, 98, 2000 were made by KONAMI OSAKA. ISS PRO EVO 1, 2, were made by together KONAMI OSAKA AND KONAMY TOKYO when companies merged. After ISS pro evo 1, 2, companies separated again. WE/PES are made by KONAMY COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT TOKYO (KCET).

OSAKA versions are not as good as KCET!

So, duffers, you should inform yourself better next time before insulting others.

But if konami makes the dribbling moves more easier to do, we would have a unrealistic game on our hands. I think its good as it is. But you forgot to tell them to add a slower games speed option. Thats something i miss from the older games.

What about choosing your own goal celbrations after you score? Done by assigning a celebration to a joypad button before the game. You could choose one celebration for every button.

That's a great idea... and if you didn't press anything you would do a no clelebration-celebration (if you know what I mean)

Yep - i know what you mean roach, if you dont feel like rubbing salt in wounds after you score a goal against your best mate. That kind of thing. But you have to agree that it would make scoring even crap goals a little more enjoyable.

Oh of course! It would personalize goals in a whole new way, as you could attach different emotions to different goals, depending on how you actually feel. I guess you could have an "auto" option as well for all those people who just want the game to celebrate for them.

I mean, how can you say no to that?

Your letter is great and all, I don`t wanna be rude or anything like it, but you really think KONAMI will listen to you.. ?? I mean, they have alot of people complaining about stuff and KONAMI don`t care. That is hopeless, but I like your points in the letter...that game would be great.
