LFC without Carlsberg....the solution

Dont think rangers and celtic have carling on their shirts sure they didnt in previous pes's. If the editing options are blocked which im certain they are then you could go with my option which is the first post of the thread, av a look. The same option i would have to do with LFC if they had no carlsberg, but i wouldn't do it for Celtic and Rangers as i couldnt care less about them

So carlsberg will be on Liverpool's shirt. That's good. Also it doesn't bother me that I can't edit kits because afterall the game will be out for only ayear which meas in reality only 1 season so you'll always have the same kit.

Fifa do have the carlsberg sponsor so therefore their should be no reason why pes 09 cant have the sponsor right?

Fingers crossed they do have it so we are not forced to go thru with this method and yeah as you said if they are sponsorless then it is one big loss of a license really :S

If FIFA haves it -then- PES should have it.. that's the Bottom Line.

I agree.. although it may sound childish, those Details are Important.

It's the same way I feel whenever I unlock a "Classic Player".. the 1st thing that goes through my mind is Why does Konami bothers to include Classic Players with Crappy-Looking Faces?? That's just Diminishing..

It's a complete waste of space.. just like having a Liverpool side without the Carlsberg Logo would be a waste of a License.

not having carlsy on the lpool kit would piss me off slightly but wouldnt be a major issue.... ill just see how things go like if you can edit the kit or if you can get an option file or the net or somthing...... you never kno but the kit may look better because i remember buying the black 3rd kit with no carlsy and it look rather nice!

and another thing i have not seen any pes09 screens for liverpool so you never kno could be a rumor that no logo on the kit!

TBH I won't be too fussed if there is no Carlsberg, i've bought this seasons jersey and it's the one without Carlsberg. I'm sure there'll be a work around one way or another for those that thise are bothered by it.

Why have LFC released a sponsorless shirt, and why on earth have you bought it, is it cheaper or something ? I dont recall them releasing sponsorless shirts any other time:S

LFC-pes they sometimes release sponsorless shirts for many reasons people who live in france i guess is one of them but also you can add your own or just love the shit with out carlsy.... they always realeas current shirts with out sponsors...

and PHAT_TOK i kinda agree i dont mind as i like both version with and without but i think if i constanly see no sponsor ill get a lil sad lol

By saying i couldn't care about classic players, i was only refferring to them being in the game.
I prefer to play a realistic football sim with modern day footballers rather than old classic players, doesnt do anything for me. Each to their own.

To say i have never seen them playing is just foolish on your behalf.

Well, evryone's entitled to their Opinion.. and I just think it is ridiculous that a Football Fan "Couldn't care Less about Classic Players".. no mean to disrespect, just my honest opinion.

I think it would be great to have them in the game, it would give a New Feature to the game, it would give more Value to the "PES Shop" -and- then again, you can always choose IF you want to use them.

Whom are The most Famous and talked about Football Legends?? Pele and Maradona.. A Football Debate without those two doesn't exist.

I think it would be cool to play Cristiano Ronaldo vs George Best -or- Maradona vs Pele, etc, etc.. In my opinion, including Fully Edited Classic Players can only help the game.

But I guess, some people just don't care about such Features.. fair enough. Although I personally think it would be an asset to the Game.

well I did agree with you up to a point creating a dream team with classic players would be awesome and i fully understand that the legends are a major factor in football.... all i was saying is i have never played with them because they are named funny and look nothing like their counterparts.. saying that if the likes of baggio or liniker with exact faces then yer i would consider playing with them more often.... but like i said its not the main thing in pes i will be looking forward to other points in the game and the classic players would be somewhere down the list in demands/intrests...
