i know how to do it but, how do you change who you contol i don't know how.

Reply a.s.ap as i have my PS2 set up for it already.

Select the player who has the block with P1 beside his name by pressing X. Then simply select the player who you want to control.

but it don't work it stays on the player you move

You have to select the player that is currently selected before choosing the player you want to control. In effect, it picks up the 'P1' and places it onto another player.
e.g. Heskey is selected but you want to control Owen. Simply highlight the 'P1' on Heskey and press X, then select the block next to Owen. Understand?
