I've been playing PES for years and started playing online with the previous version of the game. With both that game and the new one, one thing really confuses me... I am a decent player, i've played about 50 games online and my win % is above 50, however, when i play anyone over 500 rating they all seem to be able to man mark, full pitch press, tackling my players as soon as they take a touch... then if i try a through ball they're ahead of me every time.

I really am confused how they manage this, i have tried all sorts of combinations and cannot understand how they do it. Literally i cannot get the ball out of my players feet quick enough and they're on me from all sides. then when they have it they're able to waltz through my defenders like they're a bunch of sunday league lads.

Can anyone explain how the f:realmad::realmad::realmad: they do this??

Form arrows might play a big part.

Playing that blue form arrowed defender vs an orange or red arrowed AMC/ST is always going to favour the AMC/ST. I find stamina and fatigue a big factor playing online and I always do better against people who never sub their team.... even CR7 gets tired at some point!
