Link Feints advice

In the ps3 version can someone tell me how i execute a link feint.
In the manual it says press R2 and the right stick in the required direction but when i press R2 nothing happens.
Ive read some places hat say left button L2.
Which one os it can some one with knowledge and not a guess tell me this please. Cheers la !

I think you use L1 and the right stick to do the link feints.

I've not had a proper look in the manual so I wouldn't know, mate. Konami are known for making daft mistakes like that, though

If you have changed your button configuration, that may also be a simple explanation...

Nope, no button change its definatley L1 and right stick and it says in the manual to execute the move use L2 and right stick.
Center pages of manual right hand side.
